the Bioware news feels so unreal. I know great stories are being told and will still be created, but man, I was really hoping to have one last hurrah in the Mass Effect universe. My heart goes out to all the devs who put years into these projects. Awful news.

The Neverwar is mostly associated with Tankheads but the Jetheads developed late in the war were just as impactful a development. Extreme long distance strikes suddenly became viable, bypassing all defenses. And in turn nimble interceptors were developed to counter this new treat.

Howard V. Brown did a lot of great 1930s pulp sci-fi magazine covers. Nevertheless, his June 1924 cover to "Scientific American" might be my favorite work of his, despite not actually being science fiction. I love the nonchalant surrealism.
