Prvosolskega mulca katerega primarni jezik je anglescina bi med poletnimi dal na kam kamp slovenscine za otroke is diaspore. A obstaja kaj takega, al moram na tviterju zagnjavit ministrom nase domoljubne vlade?

All the usual shit I tend to say about BA websites being crap, I just tried to pay Virgin for seat selection and computer says no bueno ese 🫠

Came back home and having my jim holden moment sitting quietly in the living room with the first nice coffee after 3 weeks

The world class megahub that is LJU airport advising people in the lounge (the, as in the only one) to make their way to passport control 1hr 20min before the flight to LHR. There are no other non-schengen, passport-required flights between now and 1.5hrs after our flight 🤡

Use your powers for good, put up the bin lid signal in front of the sun to summon the caped avenger to Clacton

CITIZENS OF THE UK Tonight, at just after 6pm, i will use my power to dim the sun. Thus proving my divine right to reign over you all. I will usher in a new era of taxing both the rich and those who use wheelie suitcases in airports without passing a towing test first.

Turn on your 150k car and watch a little bug swing over people just like you stuck in traffic

This has long been one of my nightmare scenarios for EVs and *especially* for autonomous vehicles: mandatory advertising, delivered to your screens, with no way to opt out. Utterly dystopian.

I hate the concept of cars in cities and love taking transit and am amazed at Paris and would love to live there, yet I also love my 2 tonnes of rapidly depreciating metal and rare earths worth a mortgage downpayment on a home.

“Cars are the most absurd means of transport in a city,” [says Jean-Louis Missika, Paris’s deputy mayor for urbanisation]. “They are parked 95% of the time. It takes two tonnes to move someone who weighs 70kg. And the denser the city, the more absurd it is.” www.ft.com/content/882e...

This July we already smashed our record from last June for solar production. All it took was a historic heatwave and drought 🤪

Finally landed some serious context mgmt workflow improvements for @potniq.com - I now throw it a ticket link and it does the planning implementation and verification in a single agentic loop & landed first feature with it. Overnight. As I was asleep.

It will: - Plan and quiz me on the ticket - Implement - Verify - Terminate if it can't converge across set number of loops - Let me use my Codex and Claude plans 😅 - Retry and switch when I run out of usage

Not all conservation areas are thatched houses, stone walls, and bunnies. Here in Ealing we have one that conserves the 1960s area. Think plastic cladding, asbestos soffits and flues, and tiny in-house garages residents can’t turn into usable living space.

This post is unavailable.

Buying a house there would mean: - no solars, no AC - permanent garage door instead of usable room space - likely some BS communal area fees - possibly keeping our asbestos soffits I mean come on, these are 1960s Wates homes not Frank Gehry masterpieces.

I finished Highlands Burn by @jkass99.bsky.social and it’s amazing. Thanks to the friendly person at the live show in London for convincing me to get it! Downside is that I can’t stop thinking about inspirations for it! Is Hayqia the Balkans? Which llbd stories inspired the Von chapters?

My house is fully air conditioned, and yesterday in the 30 degree heatwave running it cost me a whopping negative 2 pounds. If this thing keeps coming I will be able to get a boba tea tomorrow just by running my AC

Agent how do I XYZ? Agent can you XYZ? Agent make a skill to XYZ. Agent make the tools in your own repo to let you XYZ, gold star if you hum a MacGyver theme tune while doing it.

Do you miss blowing into cartridges, polishing cds, and resolving git merge conflicts by hand? Me neither. The turbo button on a 386 though? Bring that back.

British democracy is a freemium system. - Free to vote for your MP * - Plus: vote for the PM for a few quid a month ** - Pro Max: available bundled with Eton only * Voting unavailable in safe seats ** Only for members of governing party

Also: Cosmetic skins available via the Honours System™️ Lords: on-prem root access, purchasable with a sufficiently large donation Monarchy: vendor-bundled gold plated bloatware we can’t remove, most popular in America for a strange reason

How can you be privy to basically voting in a national leadership election and 41% of the electorate decide to sit one out? The north truly is built different.

Kiddo’s school has the ofsted inspection today. Do I: - respond to the parent questionnaire with candid critique in hopes they improve - sing of unicorns and rainbows in hopes they score well and property values go up

I just spotted a car wash thingy - those auto brushes on either side and top - on a train track. Makes sense but mind has been blown. It’s on the thameslink from ldn bridge to brighton via gatwick, couple of mins north of east croydon, looking west if you’re a #transitnerd

TIL Intercom rebranded the company to Fin, with Intercom as a product. I now fully expect google to rename themselves to Gemini within a year #progress
