The problem with AI isn’t mainly environmental. Consider our present propaganda & surveillance state and how that funnels straight to our brains as we use AI to solve basic problems. Combined with brain rot from losing the ability to perform tasks and we’re just killing creativity and basic skills.

The impact on the environment, particularly in resource-poor areas, can’t be understated, but neither can the loss of the capacity to perform tasks independently and learn new information effectively. We are setting generations up for a life of brain mush and it’s devastating.
