Xodium

IT'S ALMOST TIME FOR #NUDIVEMBER!! Below is a list of nudibranch species for your art prompts. You can do as little or as much as you like and in any medium (except AI) that you want. You can draw, paint, sculpt, felt, write a poem or anything creative. Then post your art with hashtag #Nudivember

I guess my October canon event is that my main 98 box just decided it was done existing and refuses to pass video whatsoever now. Even on a known good video card. And both my X800s are acting up in weird ways. This system worked fine when it was put away!

I really do have to wonder how much the token budget is for those guys trying to clone every productivity app since they’re having to vibe-maintain what, *thirteen* apps now?

This screengrab from iFixit's iPhone Duo video kinda highlights why I'm probably never going to own a foldable, like ever. The repair costs are just so damn high if that screen breaks.

Ah yes We’re in that transitional phase with the weather where it’s like…we get to play the game of “is it safe to put away the air conditioner?” Boy howdy I guessed wrong on that game yesterday because my room turned into a damn oven.

Y’know if you’re a “famed” security journalist maybe uh, if you’ve apparently discovered something bad, stop and evaluate things and sanity check everything before hopping on social media and going bombs away on something?

What happens when you burn all your money on AI and don’t have anything left in the marketing budget

I've been seeing this a lot with retro Apple stuff and it just breaks my heart. Which is why I rarely if ever trust any new product designed for retro systems short of things like SATA adapters that have been around forever (and yet are still getting produced somehow)

Playing Ultra Moon almost 10 years too late and HE SAID THE LINE

I really wish people understood how much weight the word “just” carries.

listened I learned how to handle this from playing numberwang

Now that it’s no longer the middle of the night finally time to enjoy the fruits of my labor. Hopefully Bluesky doesn’t crunch the audio too much. Also some irony in playing a song named “Angels Never Die” on…the Satanicube. But Satan was an angel I guess so it kinda fits? (Also, PARTY MODE)

Why call it friends with benefits when mutual laid was right there?

Anyway after working on the HK stuff I am feeling like sitting down and listening to some music on my good good setup so I’m busting out the headphone amp and the Oppo PM-3s and having a good time. Using my phone because all the iPods that work with this are some form of dead/broken/problematic

It's ugly, but with that, the iSub/Soundsticks are riding the gun again (and ready for Mactoberfest next month)

Even as Epic decides to blow their own feet off with the shotgun named "Societal Repercussions", a reminder that the other half of the Unreal Tournament franchise and Warframe/Soulframe developers Digital Extremes are good eggs about this:

Sorry for the instagram link (it’s been sanitized at least) but boy howdy this sums up how I feel

oh yeah while I’ve been out I started Deltarune ch. 2 and truer words have never been spoken

So yeah maybe don’t order a DSpico off Aliexpress if you’re in the US lmao

If there was one feature I wish Apple would pinch from Samsung, well

Okay, you guys can have a wee bit of a treat. Satanicube got a substantial lighting upgrade while I’ve been out. And now she’s RGB! I also got another Studio Display from VCFMW (thanks to @ronscompvids.bsky.social for sending it to me) that I was able to combine with my existing one to fix it.
