NEW: "Donald Trump was an active participant in Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse of young women during the mid-to-late 1990s," per new House Judiciary Dem report.
Report has new allegation that Trump raped a 24-year-old and then promised the victim a visa & NYU admission, demanding she stay quiet.
Once mass spam texts were made legal, younger donors vanished, leaving a grassroots fundraising machine that subsists on squeezing vulnerable seniors, some of whom give hundreds of times a day. It’s a horrific model. Consultants get generationally wealthy, and the party hollows out its future.
We found that as of right now 73% of your campaign donation goes back to the consultants and vendors (!!!), four times more than just 20 years ago. Only 13% to ads. Even I was shocked.
📣Calling all women and femme writers📣
I am looking to commission around 10 heartfelt essays surrounding video game criticism. If this sounds like something you are down to do them read on and I urge you to apply.

right wing bigots have admitted
- the “trans women in bathrooms” issue
- the “trans women in sports” issue and
- the “trans kids getting surgery” issue
were all MADE UP TO TAKE OUR RIGHTS AWAY
are you paying attention?
Remember kids, a rich bigot torturing her economic inferiors to death is fine because there's no rule against it, but if a poor mouths off at her that's worse than ten holocausts
One of the worst things about AI is how it's making me rethink my engagement with my own indie projects. Not "Tempted to use AI" by any stretch (I have standards and professional pride), but "I keep seeing stuff stolen from devs before their games come out"
I find motivation in sharing, in (1/?)
AI fail to express anything themselves. They just mindlessly have something else do the talking, and skip out on any real connection they could have made. It steals from its users and its detractors alike.
It steals from the world, and I'll never forgive it or its proponents
I just want to be able to talk about a project I'm excited in and share art I'm proud of because *I* made it and not feel like someone is just going to type a few sentences into a box and cheapen the whole thing, generating a pale simulacrum of what I care about and they don't

talking about what I'm working on, in making it into a social thing. That's fun for me, it keeps me interested. But feeling like I have to hold my tongue, hesitating to show assets or progress, or thinking about where I can just kills that source of interest
(2/?)
Art is expression. It's communication. I want that expression to be there every step of the process. It's the only reason I WANT to create. AI cheapens that for everyone. Those who wish to express themselves get drowned out by hollow meaningless echoes drowning out their real voices
Those who USE..
Me: Gosh is there anything better than creating optimal, elegant, beautiful solutions for problems? I love it!
A bunch of clowns, apparently: hahaha let's throw a bunch of money into a furnace, buy up all the RAM and GPUs and just fuckin' brute force everything HONK HONK
No joke. I think this is the most important video I have ever seen about mobile games. This guy breaks down how this game psychologically profiles you, and makes the game harder or easier in order to show you ads
This is the shit you love to hear just as everybody is feeling extremely anxious about the opaque ROI of AI and specifically AI capex in Meta’s case. You want a story where your CFO says “it will be really bad if you’re wrong about this”
On the Cheeky Pints podcast, CEO Mark Zuckerberg and chief AI officer Alexandr Wang revealed that Susan Li pulled Wang aside “many times” at a Hawaii offsite to warn him that if Meta’s new AI model flopped, it would be “really, really bad” financially. 😬

Elon Musk's xAI on Friday persuaded a US federal appeals court to halt Minnesota's first-in-the-nation ban on AI-generated fake nude images as the technology and social media company pursues a lawsuit alleging that the law is unconstitutional.
Things Gavin Newsom has vetoed this week:
-A ban on secretly recording people with smart glasses
-A ban on ICE agents working for the state government
-A ban on websites selling your data
-A bill giving native tribes more say over water rights
-A bill protecting transgender healthcare providers
Google finally fully killed my functional assistant and I refuse to use the shitty AI
Is there any alternative system out there I can yell at to start a timer or resume playing my audiobook without touching it, without AI?
I'm **ALMOST** there with a thing called Dicio. Open source, local processing for voice recognition, not the bad kinds of AI on there
Only downside is it uses only Timer not Alarm, and when the timer expires it doesn't play a jingle, it just counts down from 5 which is not enough yelling at me
Ezra Klein asked Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang about AI making kids worse at math and reading. Huang’s reply: “Does it matter?”
Then he said he doesn’t know his own address or phone number. “We’re going to lose some fine intellectual dexterity.” www.nytimes.com/2026/09/23/o...
What are your favorite movies that made you completely rethink an actor because of their performance. Things like Truman Show giving Jim Carry a chance at drama
This post brought to you by being reminded of my personal favorite: Ben Stiller in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
wild that the head of trust and safety just posted a whole thread explaining that the rules pretaining to harassment and threatening/wishing/glorifying violence are intentionally vague so they can be arbitrarily enforced against people they don't like and relaxed or ignored against people they do
I kinda wonder how cis people who feel comfortable abandoning trans people would feel if, theoretically, they were subject to forced transition against their will on pain of torture and potentially death by a political party? Because that's the mirror of what they expect trans people to be ok with.
It's so goddamn frustrating. The MARKET is there. People WANT games, but the money people who own the industry have been steadily ruining it for ages, cutting down the money tree to sell it for a quick buck as firewood
SCOOP: A few weeks before the launch of Star Wars Zero Company, most of the developers at its studio were furloughed
The studio says they hope to secure funds to restore their pay. Some are skeptical it'll happen
I learned about this via a bitter lawsuit:

I know it'll end eventually but god, this flare-up has been going for weeks now and every time it's this bad this long it just feels like it's going to be forever. I'd love to walk around without feeling like I might dislocate a knee again...
I revere Dolly Parton much as I do Fred Rogers.
They’re people who made it their life goal just to be gentle and kind to everyone that they met.
They are prime examples of how we all should behave and live our lives.
The Library is devastated to learn of the passing of Dolly Parton, a music legend and titan of children's literacy. Her Imagination Library program has earned multiple Library Literacy Awards and, in 2018, she visited us to donate its 100 millionth book to our collection and host a story time. 🦋❤️
Neat! A charity thing I did for pride month raised a bunch of money for The Trevor Project and they sent me a hat
... In a fuckin Uline box. Seriously? Absolutely astounding an organization like that would fund people actively harming their community
