I think @kagi.com’s decision to stop developing Orion on Linux and Windows is the right one, but I’d go further and stop Orion development altogether and instead concentrate on being the best search and AI assistant, and fund the likes of @quiche.industries which has already made an amazing browser

Some simple ways Apple could improve iOS's App Library screen: - Allow for apps to be manually categorised. - Stop moving the categories around! And allow for muscle memory. - Allow it to be the _only_ homescreen, and/or allow it to be moved.

@quiche.industries Odd request, I know, but is it possible to support “Safari Web Pages” from Quiche’s share sheet? It allows the url and name to be retrieved in Shortcuts and means they can be sent on to other apps. Not seen it supported in any browser other than Safari so not sure if possible.

@quiche.industries I’m finding recently that the ad blocker only works after reloading the page. Is this a known bug on your radar?

@quiche.industries Hi 👋 This doesn't happen often but the only example I can confidently link to is from MY site 😭 With Quiche the top of the screen isn't tinted but it is with Safari. I have the meta theme-color tags in place 🤷‍♂️ wstone.uk

@quiche.industries found an odd bug, where the search bar comes up very short. Doesn’t happen every time but here’s a video that will hopefully give some clues.

@quiche.industries Another feature request: toggle to show full page title in the menu. I quite like to long press the address bar for my menu and it feels fitting that this action would show me more about where I am. On a mobile device the title of the page doesn’t always fit in the address bar.

Write flat tests. No "describe", no scenario nesting, no beforeEach/afterEach hooks (as a rule). Each test case is self-contained, listing all the setup it needs. Use Symbol.dispose for reliable cleanup. Use granular test cases. ☝️ These things will make your tests shine.
