This is the model for a demo app I used for my Event Sourcing talk at @wrocloverb.com . Simple, explicit step-by-step flow threading together all parties to a workflow, from backend to UI screens.

Had a fantastic time at @wrocloverb.com. Didn't speak to as many as I'd have liked (because difficult) but the talks were amazing and the people I did talk to were even better! No long write-up because I'm exhausted, but I'm really happy I went!

Our crew is crazy about a good cup of coffee ☕. So naturally, we’re bringing the best coffee to wroclove.rb! Figa, our favorite specialty coffee roastery based in Wrocław, will keep your caffeine levels in check at wroclove.rb. How many kilos of coffee will we drink this year?

“Manhattan” – that’s what we call it. This massive, sculptural complex designed by Jadwiga Grabowska-Hawrylak is a symbol of Wrocław’s post-war brutalism. Right behind the conference venue (a lower building by the river), it quickly became a symbol of wroclove.rb as well! (1/2)

That’s why you’ll see references to “Manhattan” throughout our design identity. If you visit wroclove.rb this year, you’ll see these beautiful creatures in person – and who knows, you might even get a Ruby passport stamp with them! (2/2) Photos: @mostlyobvious.bsky.social, Karolina Miąsik

Shoutout to our supporter @serpapi.com 🙌 SerpApi is a real-time search API that allows developers to scrape search engine results and receive them as structured JSON. It handles complex tasks like managing proxies, solving CAPTCHAs, and browser rendering. (1/3) serpapi.com

We’re down to the last tickets… and still getting DMs asking for more! 🙌 We don’t want to leave anyone out. Thinking about releasing one final batch – how many tickets should we add?

Can you build modern UIs in Rails without the JS baggage? Yes! ✨ Modern Web Platform APIs make it possible by delivering fluid, interactive experiences natively. No framework, no build. @twnsnd.com joins us to explore how much the web can do on its own these days!

There's one important piece that is missing in Rails + MCP integrations — OAuth2.1 flow that lets an LLM act with user's context and permissions. @realpawels.bsky.social joins us to run a workshop presenting how to build a production-ready MCP server in Rails - you don't want to miss it!

Got your Ruby Passport already? No worries if you don't – you'll have a chance to get it at wroclove.rb this year (thank you @adrianthedev.com)! Any ideas how our stamp will look like 🤔? See you on April 17-19 in Wrocław!

Ever heard of Authenticated Transfer Protocol? If you have a Bluesky social media account, you're already using it every day. @mackuba.eu has developed many Bluesky-related open-source projects and tools and he takes the stage at wroclove.rb to explore the protocol in depth!🔍

Our friends at @rubyconitaly.bsky.social just dropped the schedule on their website and, spoiler alert, that's really exciting! 🔥

Rubycon@rubyconitaly.bsky.social

We have finally published the full agenda for Rubycon 2026: rubycon.it/schedule/ Take a sneak peek at the schedule—we are so proud of the lineup we put together! Also, let us know if you enjoy the format we chose! #Rubycon #AleaIactaREST

Workflow engines are everywhere now but Rails still does not have a good one. What if this problem could be solved by a Rails-based gem for workflows?💡 Julik Tarkhanov will explore the topic and present a solution that integrates well with Rails without having the user do too much!

We’re proud to have EverAI support us! EverAI is one of the Top 15 Largest & Fastest-Growing AI Companies in the World - they got here in just 2 years, with 50 million users on their flagship AI companionship platform. Next goals? 100M, then 500M. (1/3) www.everai.ai

Behind all of this is a passionate team of ~75 people, with a founding team that has scaled products from 0 to IPO. They move fast, care about quality, and build things that genuinely matter to people. (2/3)

While REST remains the standard for web APIs, modern engineering challenges often push HTTP/JSON to its limits.🚧 Emiliano Della Casa joins us to show when and how to leverage gRPC for performance, MQTT for IoT, and MCP for AI integration within Rails. Don't miss it!

The agenda is locked in! 🔥 4 hands-on workshops to kick things off, followed by 12 fantastic talks. What are the next steps for you? 1. Check out the agenda wrocloverb.com/agenda/ 2. Get excited 3. Grab your ticket Can't wait to see you in Wrocław!

Imagine replacing complex UI forms with an agentic workflow. Users paste unstructured content (like emails) into a single text field. The LLM extracts structured data, pre-fills the input fields, and saves hours of manual work. Sounds good, right? Join Adam Okoń talk to see it in practice!🔥

We all dream of concurrent apps but how can we achieve that? Sharon Rosner will show how to make it happen with UringMachine – a gem that brings low-level access to the Linux io_uring interface to Ruby programs, with support for fiber-based concurrency. Don’t miss it!⚡
