I'm really great at writing characters and dialouge. Even if I don't have a clear picture of a character at first, I'll learn who they are by the end of a draft and be have a clear path to making them stronger in the edit. And when I do have a clear picture of them, they basically write themselves.

📚🪐Yumi and the Nightmare Painter is such an interesting read. The story develops pretty slowly through the middle portion of the book, but it makes sense as a relationship is building between the main chracters. It's definitely worth reading. #booksky

Manuscript editing shows you the various phases you had as a writer. Like now, I'm editing through my semi-colon phase. One chapter was like 75% sentences with semi-colons. That's too many. I appreciate seeing my growth as an author, but still.
