Everything bad in the world is because of socialism according to these people and capitalism has only given a utopia…
Sen. Deb Fischer on Democrats: "They want to demilitarize the police. It's everybody's worst nightmare on what this society would become ... people have deep knowledge of what happens in countries that say they are democratic socialist ... look at Russia"
They blamed Biden for high egg prices when we learned it was actually a cabal of egg producers fixing prices to screw the consumer…this is solely on Trump though.
New in PN: Why Trump deserves all the blame for high gas prices "No POTUS has ever deserved to be hoisted on the petard of gas prices more. That’s not only bc of how he weaponized the issue before, but bc unlike almost every other POTUS, he's actually responsible for where the price is right now."

Never forget that the great Kris Kristofferson wanted to put a boot in Toby Keith’s ass for this song…
Now they're singing Toby Keith's jingoistic, warmongering song "Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue (The Angry American). This song features the lyric "we'll put a boot in your ass, it's the American way." Happy 250th.
I’m an atheist but sometimes I want to believe that god is trying to tell us something…
They were baked in one of the hottest summer days D.C. has experienced in a long time, and now, they're being evacuated because of a thunderstorm approaching the National Mall and scrambling to find shelter. It's as though the writers did way too much cocaine during this script meeting.
Stop calling them anything but gamblers or casinos…that’s all they are and this somehow makes them seem legitimate.

McCay didn’t even wait until the weekend to take his signs down…I don’t think his challenger is less extreme though.
Yesterday's results make loud and clear that political extremists like Adams, McCay, Lee, and toadies for data centers are not the elected officials Utahns want. Fool around and find out. Congrats to @BenMcAdams and other Utah Democrats who are advancing to the November general election!
Think @nateforutah.bsky.social should wear this as a badge of honor.
BREAKING: Kathleen Riebe, struggling to raise money, has dropped out of the race for Utah’s new Congressional District 1. She endorsed Ben McAdams, while calling fellow state Sen. Nate Blouin a “loose cannon” who is “too inflammatory.”
Has he tried not being an asshole? That might help…
"...Lyons became so distressed when ICE agents couldn’t locate a migrant on their target list after a ride along with top administration officials that one of his bodyguards took a portable defibrillator from a nearby government office to Lyons in case he needed medical intervention..."
An amazing tale…
That would quite possibly take years. There is an excellent book on the whole ordeal called "Fantastinen floppi" though unfortunately, I believe it is only in Finnish. But basically, it was an unholy marriage of a number of spare parts that the execs decided could be turned into a gaming device...
@bryanth2o.bsky.social we have a wonderful family in your city that moved here from Ukraine 🇺🇦 last year that started at our dojo…
Fun fact: my wife’s grandfather used to be a drivers for Sheri’s ranch after he retired and would drive the John’s from Vegas out there. They actually have a pretty decent cafe there with good food…good in these women for organizing
When faced with a shockingly exploitative new employment contract that would’ve forced them to sign away their IP, their likeness rights, and their power of attorney, Jupiter Jetson and her coworkers at Sheri’s fought back—fast. They organized a union in SIX DAYS. www.thenation.com/article/econ...

This is one thing that always kills me about men, being a CIS male myself, is that they basically accuse women of being what they themselves are. Women aren’t more emotional than men, men act on pure emotion all the time. Men care more about what others think as well…
Relevant to today's conversation about AI's inherent sexism, here's an email from cognitive psychologist and early AI theorist Roger Schank, arguing to Epstein that women can't be truly intelligent, because they care too much about what other people think.
Wild to see something like this happen in a place named Quakertown considering it’s named after quakers who would not be ok with this.
INBOX: the police chief of Quakertown, Pa., led a group of plainclothes officers to disrupt a peaceful high school student sidewalk protest yesterday. They threw an underage girl to the ground, choked her, and disconnected all calls to the detention center where she and others are currently held.
Here’s the thing, I don’t think people remember the smog in California because we have done such a great job at eliminating it…people think that’s just how it always was. Air and water have taken major government intervention to clean up…
This is one of those areas where California can (and will) hold the line, simply due to how many cars get sold in this state. I remember the smog as a kid, and I’m sure plenty of others do too. We’re not going back to that.

Hello 801 & 435! I’m in the middle of a legislative session and the best I can say is I’m existing. It’s… a lot. So here’s some #MusicToSaunterTo: open.spotify.com/track/4r1AS4...
