Americans are now so used to their president cheating and breaking rules that many of them seem genuinely not to understand why the world was rooting for Belgium.

So far there have been two Epstein Wars, Venezuela and Iran. Cuba seems a likely third and Greenland is in the running. What they all have in common is that there is no reason for them except to distract from the president's criminality (which unsurprisingly he seeks to do with more criminality.)

Stop saying Trump wants to "nationalize elections." What he said was: "We should take over the voting, the voting in at least many—15 places. The Republicans ought to nationalize the voting.” "Take over the voting" and "nationalizing voting" is very different from the more sanitized language.
