Hi. I’m a father of two, software engineer (BSEE, MSCS), private pilot (ASEL, IR, AGI, IGI), and author. I’m also coordinator of the IMC Club Nashua chapter and a former IETF regular. I’m here because Twitter has become less inviting than the flaming dumpster floating by on route 51.

Someone talked about surf n turf today, so I wanted surf n turf. Didn’t have fettucine so I decided to make that from scratch. Hand-grated the cheese for the sauce, and tossed on some steak and lobster

Together with other scientists I’m suing the 🇺🇸 US National Institutes of Health for violating our 1st Amendment rights & censoring our health science. I’m ready to shine a light on the darkest days. Buckle up, read on. This gets pretty wild… THREAD

By terminating research grants like Kelton's to censor views it doesn’t like, the NIH is blocking scientists from work that would advance public health for all of us. We're pushing back. Tell Congress to demand the NIH restore the grants and stop its censorship campaign at aclu.org/nih_censorship_

If you would try to win by abandoning trans people (or any targeted group) you can save this “we need to win” talk; there is no “we.” I am about solidarity, and you have chosen anti-solidarity. You are not any “we” I recognize. You are the enemy I’m trying to defeat. Beating you is how my “we” wins.

There will be a lot of equivocating about all the times search warrants have been executed on members of Congress for corruption investigations and the like, and it can't be stressed enough in how many ways HSI raiding Ilhan Omar is extremely not like that.

I’m mildly annoyed that “Party Down” exists. It’s like it was just ret-conned into the entire 21st century comedy universe.

I had the privilege of finishing my training & checking out on the Consolidated PBY Canso yesterday. One of WWII’s great flying boats, this one was built in Montreal in 1944 and has an extensive history of military and waterbomber service. Looking forward to flying passenger rides in summer 2027!

The government *still* isn’t tracking how often immigration agents detain U.S. citizens. We are. 500+ Americans have been handcuffed, held at gunpoint or held against their will in Trump’s second term. Our tally is almost certainly an undercount. THREAD (content warning: violence) ⬇️

In the last decade, the IDF prosecuted one (1) soldier for unlawfully killing a Palestinian in the occupied territories. Elor Azaria served 9 months in prison. Today Israel's president, Yitzhak Herzog, pardoned him and expunged his criminal record. A clear message of 100% impunity.

Some mornings, I reread bug reports and fixes that I've written over the years, back when skill was valued and sloperators didn't exist. Then I get into my van and my new career of carpentry feeling relief that I don't have to deal with that crap again.

Welcome to life in 2026, where the lion’s share of what passes for political discourse consists of Explaining Extremely Obvious Things to People Who Refuse to Listen

Web designers: does that “don’t ask again” or “stay logged in” checkbox ever connect to anything? I can’t say I’ve run into a web site where it actually saves that selection, and instead will prompt me over and over again. If you can’t make it work, why do it at all?

The Seth Moulton campaign just admitted to Politifact that their Epstein accusation against Markey is false. The most desperate and dishonest political campaign I have ever seen.
