Students and workers are walking out, survivors and allies are taking to the streets, and all are speaking with one voice to hold rapists accountable and demand justice for survivors. #stopsexualviolence #IamJaneDoe

Survivors and allies are rising up across the country, in the streets and from overpasses to make our message loud and clear: End Rape Culture NOW.

They count on us being angry and alone, from the title IX office to the courtroom. On October 8, they get all of us at once, organized and angry together.

The flight from “free pussy” to “grab ’em by the pussy” is direct. A lawsuit says Cornell frat brothers drugged and raped a student, then advertised it on Snapchat. LSU found a football player responsible for rape and he still suits up on Saturdays.

Fraternity members barely got a slap on the wrist for drugging and violently raping Jane Doe. LSU called a football player committing rape “an error in judgment.” This country put a rapist in the Oval Office and a predator sits on the Supreme Court.

The epidemic of sexual violence holds auditions in the frat house and does prime time in the White House. Cornell and LSU are not exceptions, they are examples of rape culture on campuses and communities across the country.

Survivors of sexual violence deserve justice. Jane Doe and Kendall Francis and countless others have come forward, demanding accountability. Amplify their call #IamJaneDoe this week to demand accountability from the frat house to the White House.

Every woman we know carries the fear of sexual violence in her body. We carry it in the keys between our fingers, the drink we never set down, the text to a friend when we Uber home. The fear does its job every day.

From the frat house to the White House, institutions continue to protect rapists while women are fighting for our lives. Women are breaking, and when we break, the country breaks with us.

From the Cornell rapists to Trump, from universities to government, our institutions continue to protect rapists while women are left fighting for our lives.

Rep. Al Green has stood up for what's right for decades, from the civil rights movement to impeaching Trump, even when others stayed quiet and he faced censure. He joined our Assembly leaders as a surprise guest speaker.

Movements run on people who show up at 8am with registration badges and a clipboard. At the Women's Convening, that was our volunteers, and they kept the whole thing moving from the first check-in to the last session.

We took an honest look at where women stand in this country today. Tabitha St. Bernard-Jacobs led the conversation with Raquel Willis of the Gender Liberation Movement, Laura Terrill of Planned Parenthood South Texas, Sarah Heydemann of SEIU, and Tyra Wilkes of Me Too International.

Our Assembly Leaders cohort is learning how to build Women's Assemblies in towns and cities across the country with Project South. These leaders will bring neighbors together to decide what our movement fights for and to build that future together. Photo credit: Kyaunna Hall

Feminists have stopped authoritarian power before. This morning, Rachel Carmona sat down with Nse Ufot of Solidarity Analytics & Media, Suzanne Pharr of National Council of Elders, and Scot Nakagawa of 22nd Century Initiative to talk about how we did it and why women keep leading these fights.

21.4 million women need low-cost birth control, and Texas ranks near the bottom of the country for access because Texas lawmakers made it that way. But we decide what happens to our bodies.

What's the state of women and feminism in our country? Who is carrying the work and who gets credit for it? What do we do out of habit instead of strategy? Join our afternoon panel where we take account of what’s gotten stronger since 2016 and what we still need to fortify. convening.womensmarch.com

To know where we're going, we have to know where we come from. Feminist interventions throughout history have been key to halt authoritarian takeovers.

Learn from panelists Suzanne Pharr of National Council of Elders, Scot Nakagawa from 22CI, and Nse Ufot Women's March WIN board chair, as we discuss make sense of where we came from to understand where we are heading this Saturday in Houston at the Women's Convening.

Data centers are destroying our communities and water supply, all-time-high fuel prices are increasing the cost of food, and our rural communities are the frontline of MAGA blight.

ICE rammed an Austin man's car and shot him in the back. It has happened before. It will happen again, in Texas and anywhere they think no one is watching. We're watching. And we're getting ready.

We're not in this fight alone. The 2026 Women's Convening is a collaborative effort, and we're proud to partner with all of these organizations and groups to build a feminist future.
