Made a Gamejam break and created a short horror experience 😀 From time to time I need to keep my head in the fun gamedev Mode and for me that is gamejamming 😀 "The Unhatted" could become the first "Hatworld" game. Would love your feedback (free on itch). #horror #indiegame

Just a guest this year, maybe some time... 😉

Smeltery Update: Added Fire VFX to the smelting process. I like it 😍 #indiedev #gamedev

26 Aug

New "Production" Update: 1. Resources smoothly loose visibility on entering the smeltery 2. Sparkeffect on entering 3. Smoke while smeltery is active Can you see the difference? ;) #gamedev #indiedev

21 Aug

How the moving carrier currently looks like 🐛 Right now i am working on a full gameplay trailer - stay tuned 🥳 #indiegame

21 Aug

Hopefully the trailer will be ready next week. I'll be so happy when i finally got that done 🤩

I didn't plan for Enemies!!! 😱 Planned to do only environmental danger - but it feels like something is missing!!! 🙄 I wanne try enemies - scifi/fantasy themed... Maybe different birds? Giants? Lizards? Pirate mounted other factory worms? 🐛 Got other ideas? #indiegame #gamedev

50 Wishlists! 🥳 Thanks to all of you who support and believe in small indies! Makes me really happy to hit a "landmark" - even if it's a tiny one. For me and my first official game this means a lot. ♥️ #indiegame #indiedev

22 July

3 different Biomes ready for testing! 🎨 - Vulcano 🔥 - Desert 🏖️ - Glacier ☃️ Which one is your favorite 🧐? "Endless Engine"🐛 = roguelike + automation #indiegame

22 July

All 3 biomes are shown in the canyon variant btw - others will be coming up as well as suitable environmental dangers for each zone😜

21 July

Data-Assets are the best! 😱 I just reduced the size of all my main Objects by more then 50% by putting my meshes and VFX into dataassets with a softreference that only loads on use!!! If you never looked into Dataassets or enginevariations - Do it now! 🖥️ #gamedev

21 July

No idea how they are called in unity, godot, gamemaker etc. but i am sure there is a variation of it. Guys its INSANE how good this is - or how stupid i was all the time before... 😅

16 July

The "Evolution of Movement" Levels 1-3🐛 Upgrades: 1. Landscape asset (Biome:Canyon) 2. Particle effects 3. Scrolling landscape Material 4. Zoom function 5. Camera effect: Bloom 6. Camera effect: Dirt Lense 7. Carrier placement I hope you love those upgrades as much as i do!❤️ #gamedev #indiegame

16 July

Still not finished, but holy cow i think thats a big improvement ;) What do you think are the main things still to be changed?

Going into alpha playtesting for Endless Engine 🐛 soon. Getting slowly anxious before getting the first bigger feedback round🥹 ❓️Question❓️ When I want to make a public playtest for a steamgame before the demo. Am I allowed to release the beta Version as an itch game?

29 June

Not sure if steam does have any regulations or rules that say something about releasing any Version of the game only on theire plattform? I heared there is a playtest version on steam as well - does anyone have experiences with this?

New Capsule Art for Endless Engine 🐛 Reworked the placement and the title for more readability. 🎨 What would you say - is it an upgrade? #gamedev #indiegame

12 June

Basic setup works!🐛 Loop: - gather resources - process and transport - expand the factory Currently working on the environmental dangers and Zones for Endless Engine - Sandstorms, Quicksand and Heatwaves for deserts. Follow on Steam - don't miss it when its ready! #indiegame

Heeeeelp! Anyone that knows math? 🔢 Need a function if possible?😆 I want to use a rising difficultycurve for runs. Total runtime per Node: 180seconds - 10s Preptime (0 Danger) - 100s Growing Danger (0-about 0.8) - 60s Extreme Danger (0.8-1-0.8) - 10s Release (0.8-0) Anyone?🤪 #gamedev

I am using unreal5 btw if that helps 😀

Probably multiple functions with bools and so on 😀?

New Capsules are ready!!! 🎨 I am so proud 🥳🤩 First time doing 2D Art like this... damn that was a lot of work! But i think its worth it!❤️ #indiegame #gamedev

Software used: Clip Studio Paint. About 1 million Layers (cause i heared i should use those 😆) and probably 10 billion reworks later. Not like a professional, but still - i think thats doable for a first game entry! Check this ouuuut! 🤩 HYPE

New Steam Main Capsule for Endless Engine - nearly ready!!! I'm really proud tbh 😎 Lighter or a darker version - what do you think? #indiedev #gamedev

If you wanne have a look at the game 🧐 you can find the link in my bio. Love your feedback and wishlist to stay up to date ♥️

If you got tips for me, i gladly take those ;) Not experienced with 2D art at all! 😆

Shoutout for small freelancing Artists! I realised how hard you currently have to fight against AI, bots and scammers that make life so hard for real artists. Please don't get discouraged, stay strong and keep doing beautiful art! ❤️ #gameart #digitalart #gamedev #freelance #Art #indie

Is outsourcing Art impossible for indies? After a week of scanning Art-Portfolios I came to the sad conclusion, that I will do the capsule Art for Endless Engine myself! More then 50% of DMs were from bots and scammers with fake profiles. 😞 #indiedev #gamedev #digitalart #art #gameart #indie
