Quick point. Congress can use the spending fight in September (remember Chuck Schumer surrendered till then) to prevent a single dollar from being used to house prisoners in El Salvador.

I've been trying to say for months now, perhaps unsuccessfully/awkwardly, that we need to make the GOP legislators fear their constituents (politically), more than they fear the WH. They CARE about their jobs. It was great to here Adam say this. Call, demand town-halls, protest GOP reps' offices.
