William - Artsy Literary Agent

Hello, I'm Will(iam)! 🥸☕🏳️‍🌈 I'm a coffee-loving queer illustrator/designer and Literary Agent at L. Perkins Agency, where I rep. Kidlit - YA and selective Fiction + Adult! I love creating art and reading, and I'm working on my debut MG Fantasy Novel. 💙📚 📝💕 ✨Links✨ -> lnk.bio/willmarstudios

I just sent an email about setting up a call with my first potential client and I'm already freaking out lmao

A note about #MSWL: When an agent or editor posts a manuscript wishlist request, we’re not saying we only want stories exactly like that and nothing else. It’s a hint about the kinds of books we like and tone/vibes for mss we could be interested in.

Celebrate #AceWeek with these 13 recent releases featuring a-spec characters! 🖤🩶🤍💜

Presenting…. (Drumroll please)… Poppy as LOWLY WORM! Happy Halloweek! To answer questions in advance: I made the Apple Car, it took 10-ish hours over the course of a few weekends. Poppy HATED IT and would only go near it because we gave her babybel cheese. Yes we had to photoshop her into it 😂

WANTED 🪧 Queer webcomics, comics, graphic novels ..... speculative most favoured, smut very fine 😁 Drop your recs, faves, & creations and pls share far & wide! HUMAN-MADE ONLY I am already angry enough lol

Authors! What's the thirteenth line of your WIP? Mine: Against the powerful shroud of night were two moths, silver light flaking off their glowing bodies with each wing flap. [ #writingcommunity #threadbare #amwriting #writesky ]

Horror Camp - When daddy Smokey had enough of these horny twinks disregarding fire safety.

This November will see the 15th anniversary of when I started publishing The Pride It may not have ended how I hoped (in context of reality and the story) but there is so much I am forever proud of with that series. I hope the characters are still loved out there #ThePrideAnniversary

I haven't even offered rep to this author and I'm already mentally building a potential submission list for them and their project 🤣

So proud of the “Discover What Makes You Special” episode of Reading Rainbow. Fills my heart with joy to see the library kids talking about being autistic, about their neurodivergence, about their disability. It’s a blessing to witness children believing they are special ✨ youtu.be/-T9rkthr5is?...

I hate literary agent Halloween. What do you mean you're dressing up as another reminder asking about the delivery of payment?

IMHO No offense to the Mitch Churi Chat Show but Bad Author Book Club had a much bigger hand in the Revitilization of Modelland 🫣 [ #bookwormwill #booksky ]

Good morning! We're suing Meta for stealing our shit 😎 let's goooo

My partner enjoys dystopian stories far more than I do. He loves the idea of "what if" in those kinds of environments. I don't because I fear that it's one day about to become our reality 🥲😱

QUICK QUERY PSA: Before I open to queries, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the information on my website. Screenshots are posted below. I'm really looking forward to reviewing your projects! [ #MSWL #querying #writesky #literaryagent ]

My current plan, given my day job, is to open up queries on Monday the 19th and stay open until November 1st. Just to get a better idea of interest and such then figure out a more concrete monthly schedule! 🤔
