@johngreensbluesky.bsky.social turteticate 3: all the way down

@davidpierce.xyz as a fellow black wallpaper Home Screen user one of the best new features of iOS 26 is the photo shuffle lock screen. I have it set to change every hour to a new featured photo it recommends.

@theverge.com how has nobody noticed that the charging port on the iPhone air is not centered in the frame. It is 0.25mm offset towards the bottom

@hankgreen.bsky.social @johngreensbluesky.bsky.social I was just listening to Dear Hank and John and I just want to let you know as a Gamecock alumni. You two were every freshman who’s ever attended USC until sophomore year when you can’t come up with anymore jokes.

@davidpierce.xyz Congrats on the baby! FYI, 2525 King St, always have fancy supercars on display in their driveway. Should be just down the street from you in Alexandria

It pisses me off to no end, that all the small businesses out there just trying to make a living are getting screwed over daily by these tariffs meanwhile the jackass in chief and his cronies get to break all the laws make millions laughing and giving thumbs up to the camera like a big F you.

@hankgreen.bsky.social Has Goodstore thought about getting into the electrolyzed water cleaner game? It feels right up your alley.

@hankgreen.bsky.social can you make a video about what we could do if a democratic president gets the chance to “flood the zone”? Executive order: no more assault rifles, executive order: term limits, executive order no more filibuster lastly executive order no more executive orders.

@snazzylabs.com I just migrated my home network to @ubiquiti.bsky.social and was poking through all the features. Have you seen the Power amp? ui.com/us/en/integr...

I think it’s important to note every time I drop of my toddler she won’t let me walk on the sidewalk. I have to walk on the “green”. She literally makes me touch grass daily.

@davidpierce.xyz the web browser from 2005 Motorola Razr.

@quiche.industries could the quiche iPad beta be semi easily enabled on Mac as a hacky way to get a desktop version of the browser? I’m enjoying the iPhone version. Would love to try it on desktop somehow.

@seanhollister.bsky.social @davidpierce.xyz loved COD on my steam deck but what killed it for me was no background updates. I’d rather have a PS5/portal where the console updates over night and I can just play. Steamdeck would never do that, at least while running windows.

This timeline is really making me wish the TVA existed. Or if it did was idono. Doing something

@davidpierce.xyz @welch.bsky.social I picked up a pair of Ace headphones open box from Bestbuy a while back for $250. At that price point as just basic noise cancelling headphones they are pretty great. I don't use the app, i have always liked the Sonos sound signature and at that price they work.

@hankgreen.bsky.social @johngreensbluesky.bsky.social. I think you would both have very different but equally valuable thoughts on this video. Maybe something that can be discussed during a free moment of @projectforawesome.bsky.social youtu.be/zmO8uGIl9gk?...

This bill needs to be more broadly reported on. People hate taxes but abolishing the IRS and all taxes other than a sales tax would horribly cripple our ability as a society to provide basic necessities, utilities and infrastructure. www.congress.gov/bill/119th-c...

With apple adding the Live Caller ID Lookup API I would love to see Google update the google voice app to allow you to set it as default with the Pixel call screening functionality. I know it's a selling point of Pixel but I would happily pay a subscription for it considering how good it is.

@theverge.com Heads up, i'm trying to do some reading but can't access my account/subscription. Looks like some sort of firebase issue.

@davidpierce.xyz Are you seriously telling me there are no 3rd party Switch power cables on Amazon? I find that so hard to believe.

Who the hell thought wingdings font was a good idea....

@reckless.bsky.social @davidpierce.xyz Have you guys seen this? the-decoder.com/chinese-eboo...

I read Engadget on my PSP's web browser before the iPhone was a thing. When the OG staff split off and starting @theverge.com. Reading is every day on my OG iPod Touch. It has been the first bookmark on every device since 2011. Today, I remember subscribing to the next chapter.
