This weekend WUN members continued their work helping to rebuild the Cefn Fforest Miners Institute. Our communities have been impoverished by big business and their politicians, but this project demonstrates what can be achieved when we organise the people power still present in those communities.

Nationalist governments in Wales, Scotland and the north of Ireland openly talking about independence is good news, but this will prove a dead end for national liberation. Britain will never freely let us go. Only an organised working class taking power can deliver independence for Wales.

🔥Burnham’s Bonfires🔥 The government’s totally inadequate response to the ongoing wildfires shows a shocking lack of concern for the people of this country, and breathtaking levels of incompetence.

The blistering sun may have killed off the peas and beans, but our garden has been able to produce a variety of fruit and veg! Our members spent a few hours of their time harvesting tomatoes, plums, apples, and giant aubergines that were planted earlier in the year. A lovely day for lovely food.
