I built Parley-js because postMessage is deceptively hard. Origin validation, timeout handling, detecting when an iframe crashes - same boilerplate every project. So I wrapped it in a TypeScript API with heartbeats, schema validation, zero dependencies. parleyjs.com

Skip the "best design of 2025" lists. They're dated before you read them. Godly curates exceptional web design daily—not annually. Filter by e-commerce, portfolios, SaaS, whatever you're building. Quality over listicle spam. godly.website #webdev
Checklist Design is a systematic approach to not shipping broken UX. Covers edge cases for everything from buttons to password resets. Available as a Figma plugin so it lives in your workflow. Worth bookmarking: www.checklist.design #webdev
My kids kept saying, "I'm bored!" or "I don't know what to do!"—so I built a quick app to fix that. Press a button (or spacebar), and it suggests a random activity! The list is weighted for better control over what pops up. The code is open-source if you wanna check it out: bit.ly/3F0VuP2

Can we get the @bsky.app community more involved with this event? If there's a platform to share positivity, this is the place!

This is gorgeous!
One of my favourite UI patterns is using `backdrop-filter` to create a “frosted glass” effect. When I see this effect in the wild, though, it’s almost never as lush and realistic as it could be. There’s an important optimization that nobody makes. ✨ I share the secret sauce in my brand-new post:

If you're making a side project today or a personal site that needs a hero image, I made this lil hero generator a while back: hero-generator.netlify.app Enjoy!
💯 Couldn’t agree more! Present any idea or concept to GPT and let it ask you questions—it’s an incredible way to refine your understanding or approach. Will it always guarantee success? No, but it’s a powerful exercise to challenge assumptions and think deeper.
Of all the different ways I use ChatGPT, one of my favorite use cases is asking it to analyze some text and then ask me questions about it. This is ideal for studying a topic. I'd have killed to have this back in college.

I made a thing! I was playing around with the AT protocol and as a little experiment I made a website that visualises activity around Bluesky: nightsky.hctr.dev It listens to all new posts and shows them as little stars across a night sky 🌃 Every star is someone, somewhere, posting something
I HIGHLY recommend this book if you're a leader at any level. I had the pleasure of meeting Brian multiple times during a Series B round, and I can attest that he is an amazing person and leader. This is not a book of theory; it is a book about what he did and how he led. bit.ly/2AxFdA0
