WCSFA - West Coast Speculative Fiction Association

VCON is back. WCSFA is thrilled to announce VCON 44: Pick Your Punk — Living Through the 21st Century, coming Saturday, November 14, 2026, to BCIT Burnaby. 🧵1/4 #VCON44 #VCON #WCSFA #PickYourPunk #SpeculativeFiction #VancouverEvents #BCFandom

Cosplay/costuming fans: would you join or watch a Catwalk, Contest, or themed group photo — or help make it happen? VCON 44 is gauging interest before recruiting an organizer; this is research only, nothing is confirmed. Let us know by Wed., Oct. 14: s.wcsfa.org/v44-cosplay-...

🎲 Want to run a tabletop game at VCON 44? 🎲 We’re looking for board, card, TTRPG, and other game ideas for scheduled play. Submit the form by 11:59 PM Fri. Oct 16: s.wcsfa.org/v44-game-int... (Or scan the QR code in the image). Interest only — not a confirmed game slot. #VCON44 #TabletopGaming

Want to be part of the VCON 44 programme and share your knowledge, creativity, fandom, and great conversation as a panellist, presenter, workshop leader, etc.? Let us know by filling out our Program Guest Interest Form: s.wcsfa.org/v44-program-... #VCON44 #VCON #ScienceFiction #Fantasy #Fandom

VCON 44’s Vending Interest Form is live! Artists, makers, authors, other sellers, and community organizations can express interest in a table in the Maker Square or the Merchant Square: s.wcsfa.org/v44vendingin... An interest request does not guarantee a table or space. #VCON44 #VCON #VendorCall

Travelling to VCON 44 — or might an overnight stay make attending easier? We’re exploring a nearby hotel group rate. Take our short survey by Sept. 25; Sept. 23 responses especially help: s.wcsfa.org/v44-accommod... Planning only: not a room booking or attendance commitment. #VCON44 #PickYourPunk

Jeri Taylor was responsible, in large part, for changing my life. She was elegant, erudite, & fiercely opinionated. She wanted Kathryn Janeway to be a significant part of her legacy & there is no doubt that in that endeavor she succeeded. I owe her a debt of gratitude. May she rest in peace.
