I submitted my #CMALT using #Mahara eportfolio system and when I retired I exported all my work to free hosting with #foliospaces who have now disappeared without trace. Anyone at #altc know how I can contact them ?? #enshitification #edtech

For the first time in what I think is 15 years, I won't be taking part in #altc, happening this year in Cardiff. However, I will at least be appearing as part of the radio station, with a new show for this year, as well as a repeat of last year's show. Tune in at www.thethursdaynightshow.com

Today is Ada Lovelace Day - 2 Facts! • In 1843 she published notes on the Analytical Engine. • They held the first published description of a stepwise sequence of operations for solving certain mathematical problems. (Source: Computer History Museum) #AdaLovelaceDay

I don’t agree with the death penalty. As for live-streaming it for all to see, that is absolutely gruesome & extremely worrying. Americans (& other nations) should stand against this. Trump et al need to know they’ve gone far too far if this public execution goes ahead.

The nasty party lives on

Tories to hand free childcare to those earning more than £100,000, would cost £700m to the public purse. Previously, they pledged cuts to universal credit, housing benefit, support for the long term unemployed. Continuation of the Tory war on less well-off.

Parents, grandparents, carers, keep your eyes peeled for showings in cinemas of a double bill of animations of 'The Tiger who came to Tea' and 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt'. Coming soon.

Happy European Day of Languages! For me, one language has always led to another - from school French, German and Spanish to Portuguese, Romanian, Albanian and beyond. Each has brought new friendships, journeys, laughs, music, food and ways of seeing the world. Learn a language. Open a world.

Q6 - If you could change one thing tomorrow in your teaching, course or institution to help more students move from simply being present to genuinely belonging, what would it be? Reply with A6 #LTHEChat and your response @ifawolowo.bsky.social

Important point that any journalist worth their salt would recognise. #bbcLauraK #fail

Laura Kuenssberg asks if it bothers Labour's Bridget Phillipson that people who create jobs and pay a lot of tax, citing, Jim Ratcliffe, move abroad - except, that's not the full story. My View: Did you know companies owned by Jim Ratcliffe have received public support worth around £630 million?

Bye bye! He is the very definition of a scrounger, wanting something for nothing.

Prof. Catherine Rowett, ex MEP@catherinerowett.bsky.social

Why did the BBC think this was news? Ratcliffe is part of the reason why the UK is in such a state. No one should be listening to him or any other unpatriotic tax exiles who wanted a country where they could get rich and pay nothing.
