Got a delivery in the middle of the day, and caught myself saying "Have a good night" in slow motion, and felt like a hero for saving it at the last second to make it "one." In reality I just weirdly stammered "HAVE A GOOD NIGHHHHONE!"

I shared a desktop screenshot with my friends, and they're all freaking out that I'm only in two Discord servers. What is wrong with you people?

I have the attention span of a dead badger! They should give me an award for managing to handle two.

What fucking legends.

Anthropic lost $80 billion? It's like they say: you have to break a few eggs to fake an omelette.

You, a normal person: "I am having a normal thought about useful things." Me, a me: "So like, are Snap, Crackle and Pop siblings, or... lovers?"

The new staff engineer at work has only been here one day and could already tell it was me putting the middle finger emoji on a product manager's post.

Sitting at school dropoff, watching an ever-growing group of kids excitedly walking a container of mulch across the playground.

If you dislike AI please stop saying AI can code now. Just because it can generate code that works for some loose definition of the word works doesn't mean it can code because coding is so much more than that. Please, I'm begging you, you do not, under any circumstances, gotta hand it to them

Look, sometimes you eat post-birthday leftover chocolate crackles for breakfast, and that's okay.

At some point between when I was a kid having birthdays and now, they renamed party bags to... loot bags. Kill. Me.

I got to look after Duke, the therapy dog, while his mum watched her human kids on the monkey bars. I miss having a dog.

Poly Fighter launches into Early Access tomorrow! A year and a half ago this was just an idea. Now we're about to put it into players' hands, and honestly, the support we've received leading up to launch has been overwhelming. www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYkb... store.steampowered.com/app/3977340/...

Sure, you can force me to talk to the Sloppinator as part of my job, but you can't make me be nice to it.

The Big Kid is, technically, 11 today, though because he was born in San Francisco he ends up with two birthdays.

It has only just dawned on me that my dumb little interview website is 17 years old this year. Whaaaaaat.

You, a normal person: "I will do something fun and exciting with my weekend." Me, a me: "Ooh, I'm going to completely reorganise my NixOS config!"

Having to choose between consulting the unrelenting grifting slop machine or keeping a job is capitalism at its finest.

I managed to sneak "Torment Nexus" into one of our developer tools, and so far no one's yelled at me. Chalking that up as a win.

I remember reading It while on holidays, and being so scared I intentionally left the book in the hotel bedside drawers.

Sleepy Hollow Reviews 🎃🐎@sleepingvillage.bsky.social

In honor of scary media month: what is the first piece of media you remember truly frightening you as a child?

Me, to my cognitive functions: "The children are back at school, I repeat, the children are back in school, this is not a drill!"

My pal who runs the local cafe has been asking his staff for their top five albums of all time, and is now hitting me up, and... fuuuuck. 🤯 Or as he put it, "It *is* a cunt of question."
