WAF.moe Administration

Bringing back waf.moe for a bit because of the big TNC outage. This is your last chance to migrate to another instance.

WAF.moe is shutting down in a month! Please migrate to another instance ASAP. Once that we pulled the plug, we will delete all unmigrated accounts. **You will not be able to recover unmigrated accounts!** Please ping jb or other head admins at ... see complete post

(not an April fools prank, btw.) Hi Wafflers, WAFrn and WAFkey registrations are temporarily closed until further notice. We are in the process of resolving internal issues and will re-open them once we have sorted those out. Thank you.

I have said this privately but now it's the time. Starting immediately, **I'm no longer moderating WAFrn and WAFkey until further notice**. Things have taken a toll on my mental health and I do not want this instance to be affected with my situation. That doesn't mea... see complete post

Say happy birthday to @gwenbnuuy, one of our admins!

We have some issues with Bluesky's AppView not crawling our PDS. Your posts might not federate properly to Bluesky. Hopeful that this will be fixed soon. Thanks!

If you want to switch your account from Bluesky's PDS to a indie one, why not switch to WAF.moe, and you get a Fediverse account too! Just email admin@waf.moe for an invite code. Another note: if you don't want to switch to Wafrn but wanted to stay away from Bluesky's PDS, WAF.moe is a PDS too.

It seems to be the WAF.moe update day! ... see complete post

Hello there wafflers (and everyone)! There's been a spam/scam popping off around the Fediverse, which consists of bot accounts from big instances with open registration (e.g. mastodon.social, mastodon.world) that asks you to verify your identity. DO NOT FOLLOW THE LI... see complete post

Will take a break from moderating/administrating waf.moe (services) for a while as my mental health is not feeling well at this moment, and moderating will take a toll on it. Note that I'm still going to be here posting, boosting posts and stuff (but going to minimize... see complete post

Hey fedi and bsky folks! My phone just broke down today (both it's screen and touch are broken) and because I use it as my primary device for communicating with my real life family and friends, and chatting here, I need a new phone. I don't really need a high end phone or a new one [...]

WAFRN Tip of the Day #2 You already know WAFRN federates custom CSS, now if you want a style to only work on other servers, and not yours, just add [external-css-override] to it, like this! .instance-logo[external-css-override] { content: inherit !important; } #wafrn #2

WAF.moe has been updated to Wafrn 2026.02.02-DEV! This brings a huge update of how we get Bluesky posts, and WAF.moe is now getting more decentralized on Bluesky?

Anonymous asked: can i have code, bnuuy email us at admin@waf.moe !!! we do not share invite codes publicly for obvious reasons. - @jbc.lol

WAFRN Tip of the Day #1 If you want to make your post not federate and only show on your WAFRN server, click the globe icon after the X icon and choose **This instance only**! NOTE: Even though this will not federate to fedi and bluesky, **__your post is still public in the Internet__**! #wafrn #1

Did you know you can chat with other wafflers? You can join theWAFmatrix (#waf:chat.waf.moe) (ask us for an invite!) or WAFcord! #waf

We have a Matrix space now! If you have a Matrix account, you can join in by using #waf:chat.waf.moe! If you don't have one and want one, just private mention @jbc.lol (fedi only) or email admin@waf.moe for an registration token! #waf

WAF.moe should now also be updated on that version. If you are a WAF.moe user and saw issues with fetching Bluesky posts/users, please ping me either on Wafrn discord or on WAF(cord): https://discord.gg/NXA2Ffc3Am

Hello wafflers and people in other instances! Starting right now, all WAF.moe instances will require Authorized Fetch to better protect our users. If you are on a instance that does not support it, please ask your admin to upgrade the instance software you're using. Stay safe, folks! - @jbc.lol

Hey wafflers! I would like to present the official waf.moe 88x31 button! Feel free to put it on your websites and stuff! - milky :milky_normal:

Anonymous asked: what do you think about making every single waf.moe user a furry hell yes

Hey there! Do you want more of my shenanigans? You can now send a tip to me through Ko-fi! https://ko-fi.com/jbcrn Of course, my Patreon is still there but this is a new way to send a tip to me! This will help with my personal needs, and WAF.moe's server upkeep!
