Experimenting with creating my own LLM coding benchmark The first test-run was already very interesting, but the tests need some improvements to make the results more meaningful. Later I plan to run it with different sub-agent combos. Maybe I'll also add the results to my website πŸ€” #BuildInPublic

Did a small revamp of my old blog wweb.dev - swichted from next.js to astro and did a little cleanup to make it look more modern and more consistant :) Don't know if it makes sense to publish new content though - do people here still read blogs or is everybody only asking AI? #buildinpublic

⭐ Starguessr #1 🟧🟩🟨🟨🟩 I scored 3.857 points guessing GitHub repo stars on the first daily challenge - can you do better? 😊

I recently installed linux mint on my old macbook pro 2017 as docker desktop was not support anymore by the os version and it was too old to update it. After fixing some initial issues like sound and wifi I'm pretty happy with it :)

I just vibe-coded a little admin panel to see some stats and insights for statusscout.dev. It actually is used more than I expected. Now i need to get the third number from 0 to 1 😊 #buildinpublic

Just finished the first version of my amp project - it's able to control music on my sonos speakers via buttons and nfc cards πŸ₯³ It was super interesting and I really learned a lot. I'll work on a small blog post of my process, the hardware and the code - but I guess this will take a while πŸ˜…

A friend just 3d printed the case for my amp media player project 😍 looking forward to putting it all together next week

I had a lot of fun lately tinkering with a little hardware project. It will be a small amp that plays music on my wifi speakers once a nfc album card is inserted 🎡 First test version is working - now i have to refine a lot of stuff and finalize it 😊

Just switched my personal website from Next.js to Astro: Next.js: 1.5 MB transferred with 340 kB of JS Astro: 400 kB transferred with 3 kB JS (my umami analytics script) Also, pagespeed insights went from 96% to 100% - now I only need to fix the a11y issue to have all on 100 😊 #buildinpublic

I've spent quite some time today to set up this little e-paper dashboard. There's still room for improvement, but I'm pretty happy already 😊

For testing I started scanning random websites with statusscout.dev and I'm surprised how many of them leak sensitive files. It found something on around 25% of the websites. Mostly it's some kind of test.php with phpinfo() or /wp-admin but sometimes also package-lock.json or pipeline files.

Just published the new version of statusscout.dev including monitoring and much more πŸ₯³ Before officially launching, I want to do more testing - I'll give away 6 months of free premium for anyone who is willing to test and give me some feedback :) #BuildInPublic #WebDev

I've been working on accounts for statusscout.dev lately. I don't have as much time as I'd like to, so it's slow progress - but still progress :) Here's a small preview on the recent state πŸ‘€ My goal is to finish it till end of October #BuildInPublic

I've decided on a name for the website health check - I'll call it Status Scout :) The first working version is now online: statusscout.dev Feel free to try it out, and please report all bugs you find πŸ˜„ #buildinpublic

Built a website health dashboard in my spare time inspired by needs at work - it includes various cron checks, custom test flows, and error notifications. Thinking about refining it, open-sourcing it and putting it online for others to use. But still a lot to do until it is ready :) #buildinpublic

Switching from vercel to a self-hosted coolify instance to save some bucks. Works great so far! I think coolify will be my default for future projects #buildinpublic

Anyone ever used AR glasses for work (like xreal one)? Would be interested if it's worth it as I probably have to get rid if my desk soon.

wtf Without any notification, vercel put all my side projects down because I reached some limit... Upgraded to the pro plan for this month to quickly get them up again, but I'm definitely moving away from vercel and to my own server again. #buildinpublic
