Happy 15th birthday, Nyan Cat meme. In April 2011, the Nyan Cat video was uploaded to YouTube. Nyan Cat on YouTube in 2012

NASA’s mission to orbit the Moon is being interrupted by Outlook (New) and Outlook (classic) both refusing to open 😂

Does kinda annoy me my ThinkPad's CPU has "AI" in the name. Feel like that dates it somewhat.

Still have no idea how the Apple Studio Display has speakers as amazing as it does.

I want Fedora 44 so bad bros. Have my whole setup with my Studio Display plugged into a new CalDigit T5 and want it to work with my ThinkPad asap. The wait is killing me.

Had to enter my age into my iPhone to download an app. Cant get rid of this thing soon enough. Save me, Graphene…

Krita 6 (and 5.3) released! Two #art #apps for the price of one! Look forward to Wayland color management (for Krita 6); an overhauled text tool with direct on-canvas editing, wrapped text and text-on-path capacity; a new #comic panel assistant; and so much more 🖌️. krita.org/en/posts/202...

Man, I love Debian. Looking forward to going back to it in 2 to 4 years when my newer hardware will run well on it.

Halved my ThinkPad’s boot times today. I love computers.

julie: "can you put on some music" me: huh bluetooth is disabled in my nixos config Ten minutes later: music is coming, soon

DLSS off / DLSS 5 on

BREAKING: A Delaware judge has ruled that Krafton must *reinstate* Ted Gill, the fired CEO of Subnautica 2 maker Unknown Worlds. In the ruling, the judge accuses Krafton's CEO of using ChatGPT to come up with a strategy to get out of paying Unknown Worlds a $250 million bonus. Story coming shortly

It’s crazy to me how 80% of my Linux issues went away when I just disabled gnome extensions LOL

Turns out all my complaints about GNOME were actually caused by unstable plugins… I’m sorry, GNOME.

So glad I left the Apple ecosystem. I hated iPadOS 26, but I didn’t realize how abysmal it was until I had to walk my grandma through questions she had about it. And people say Linux is obtuse…

I’m officially a shortwave radio guy 👍 Had to compile SDR++ on my ThinkPad. Kinda legit.

So… what’s the game plan for skirting age verification stuff on Linux?

Alright, I’ll bite. What’s Iran

I used to have this box of games, which of course in the 21st century means video games. But my funniest joke was putting an actual ball-and-cup toy in there because it’s a box of games. Anyway I guess it’s not that funny trying to explain it.

Oddest part to me about the MacBook Neo is that it’s running a two year old A-series chip instead of a newer one.

I do love my Apple Studio Display but Apple is out of its mind for pricing its two new models where it did. Granted I’m no longer in the Apple cult so my Studio Display’s offerings arent quite as amazing to me anymore.

Biggest tech regret of my life was not opting for 64gb of ram on my ThinkPad when I could have done it for cheap. Had I known the iGPU would use my RAM I would have def upgraded.

Not Smiling Friends 😭😭😭😭

Shoutout to this one Samsung NVME that this guy ran an ARMA server off of and is still going after 24x its rated life span. www.reddit.com/r/DataHoarde...

Bro it straight up smells like spiders in here

The creator of Nearby Glasses made the app after reading 404 Media's coverage of how people are using Meta's Ray-Bans smartglasses to film people without their knowledge or consent. “I consider it to be a tiny part of resistance against surveillance tech.”

Surprise me. I’m surprised today.

Stop. Using. Spotify.

Just noticed Bluesky puts a little butterfly logo on posts for only the instant you screenshot them. Very clever.

Biggest gaming news in a while. This is actually massive. Xbox might mean something again. *might*

Wow, a vocal dissenting opinion in Microsoft management. That’s actually pretty big considering her coworkers and boss(es) are the ones that put Xbox and Microsoft in such an asinine position.

Microsoft's new Xbox chief is Asha Sharma, formerly president of CoreAI. She's promising to "recommit to our core Xbox fans and players" and "celebrate our roots with a renewed commitment to Xbox starting with console which has shaped who we are." www.theverge.com/games/882326...
