If you truly believe Cheesecake Factory is fancy wait until I blow your mind with the fact that a lot of Mexican restaurants exist that offer cheese dip heated over a candle, fresh guacamole preparation as a service (FGPaaS), and even bring full on sizzling+smoking ass fajitas directly to your table

Was shocked the burgers at Graceland were (while not cheap) actually affordable enough I was expecting to pay like $2500 for one which, comparatively speaking, is apparently still about half the price of a burger at Mar-A-Lago I bet they don't even have PB+Banana sandos or sequin jumpsuits...

I loved the FX show Snowfall and was happier than a pig in shit when The Drop showed up in my Hulu recs unexpectedly a couple of months ago I haven't seen tonight's episode but it's been a really great ride as well. Lee is a GOATed TV character IMO and everyone else (esp Wanda) is amazing.

LLMs are leading to the most frivolous and uneducated requests and unrealistic expectations from people that have never touched code in their life to say shit like "well my AI said this was a 5 minute change and it will save me 1 minute a week so.." with zero regard for legacy infrastructure..

My air fryer game when I get my stackable racks delivered tomorrow

My game is inly about a month out from getting out from under nearly 30 years of ASP Classic code, and could cut over in a pinch with less than 3 days of downtime immediately if I had to Retired my old Visual Basic code formally code back in 2023 after 25+ years Conversions take time... 😂

"Old" (like the majority of M. Night Shyamalan movies) was terrible.. ..but Aaron Pierre played a character named Mid-Sized Sedan and that alone instantly endeared him to me.. ..as such I'm absolutely thrilled to see him shine in Lanterns..

"Very nice" is debatable (and honestly defendable), but I truly feel for anyone that believes Cheesecake Factory is a "fancy" restaurant. I get that it's "more expensive" than most corporate chains, but every one I've ever seen dating back 20+ years has been attached to a shopping mall.

Apparently referring to Bacon Bits as "Pork Pieces" is frowned upon in certain company

A year of work drops tomorrow morning. 😶‍🌫️

Good news is my beta for my game rewrite has passed the smell test for 8 hard core users (including a couple of computer nerds that put the QA screws to it) so I'm ready to move into infrastructure! The bad news is I'm now setting up new Linux and MySQL instances from scratch.. 🫠

After 20 years of service I broke the shaft in my Precor elliptical and need to buy a new one 😔 Hope this Sole's are decent. - can't afford that Precor cash anymore 😂

Boomers will argue until they are blue in the face that "not everyone deserves a made up trophy" and yet the majority of them vote for a guy that collects made-up awards like the floorboard in my car collects Taco Bell wrappers

A lettuce wedge does NOT constitute a salad and it's a crime against humanity to cosplay otherwise

Me : "Hey, ya wanna see this huge brown Glob on my Giant Size Man Thing?" My friend : "Excuse me?!" Me : "it's one of my favorite comic book covers of all time!"

I don't think we talk enough about how many Bored Ape ripoff jpgs we could create per second if we quit focusing future data center usage at AI and started focusing on the even dumber things main stream media lapped up after the lockdown broke their collective brains

I normally multitask while working through some monthly automated tasks but today feels like a "let's just soothingly watch these bastards chug along while I swig a mind boggling amount of coffee and mindlessly surf my phone" kinda days...

I honestly wouldn't mind if basketball didn't count "backwards steps" as "travel steps" ..but once you pick up the ball and go backwards you obviously can't move forwards again... But whatever is passing for NBA rules now is totes vibes based ..

Is the geriatric leader of a country supposed to derail their train of "thought" with random noises on the regular? ...sure.. that's obviously better than being a PDF.. But it's possible for a Venn diagram to catch both of those indiscretions at the same time....

I bet Jimothy didn't have to patch PHP boxes this week.. that lucky little hunchback bastard..

I kinda put a pin in my Pyhton blog software development but the events of the last 36 hours have me geeked up to get back at it sooner rather than later

Had a player question if my message detailing why I took some of my sites offline yesterday was legit because it "sounded like AI wrote it" If you guys have ever read the fuggin' word jumble way I post here I promise you I'm only a modicum more professional there So idkwtf he talkin' 'bout

Fun fact : She-Ra and Mumm-Ra are cousins

The PHP thing yesterday have me y2k flashbacks because now everyone who doesn't know wtf they are talking about is acting like "oh it turned out to be a big nothing burger" while people that actually did understand the ramifications were fixing shit instead of sitting around all thumb-in-ass

Ya better be checking the bank/crypto transactions and/or blackmailability of every council member anywhere that is pro "build a GPU intense datacenter here" ...for the record I'm not saying they ARE dirty... I'm just saying if something's quacking it's more often than not a duck

"Patching PHP vulnerabilities on your day off is no way to go through life son..."

Legit serious WordPress based PHP vulnerability folks This one here likely shouldn't be trifled with, especially in the age of AI+LLM weirdo edgelords Even my DIY ass has a stray WordPress site banging out there in the ether for my game.. I'm taking it offline completely until the dust settles

In theory I get why people love The Doobie Brothers... ...but in practice...

The call-and-response between Prince and Sheena Easton is pop music perfection.. U Got the Look is an all out baller but gets grossly overlooked because Prince's catalogue is absolutely insane.. But this song (in a vacuum) rated solely as an early 80s banger?!? 😘

My fantasy football team today with Bijan Robinson at running back and Tre Tucker at flex...

The smooth-brains you are social media friends with actually believing they are schooling others and changing minds after posting the absolute dumbest political propaganda slop on their Neighborhood Facebook page

Sitting politician up for reelection : "Let's put a moratorium on new data centers in our community until later this year..." Only a chucklefuk easily duped by the I-got-your-nose magic trick falls for this poppycock..

A couple of my kids have taken to using the term "ten toes down" so I've started using the term "9+1 piggies primed" with them and I think they hate me for that

Your Claude terminal reporting for duty after a fresh workspace compaction

At this point if you stay on Meta because "your family and friends use it" you are at best a social media cuck that is willingly complicit to ignore fascism anyone with a set of eyes and a quarter vending machine quality moral compass could understand

I almost posted this morning joking about what Elon-wannabe Zuck was gonna do to fascist-glaze the administration after the whole Starlink debacle this week and I guess they may have landed on blocking the No Kings Instagram page day-of-protest

If your company really wants a 10x engineer but only wants to pay them 2x salary for that efficiency boost you're saying aloud you want to grind your employees to dust while the C-Suite and VC edgelords skim off all the cream And if you are a middle manager doing this you are the ultimate traitor

TLDR update- LLMs are reeeaally good at specific coding tasks Frontier AI labs have the best models China isn't as far behind as frontier labs feint Open weight local models with a good harness are often "good enough" Smart companies realize all these things This AI+tech bubble gonna pop soon

Reminding people that we've been here before and we made it out okay...

The majority of the social media pilled boomers AND Gen Xers I deal with LOVEZ they AI slop.. So these dumber-than-paint political ads we are all laughing at recently are prolly (and sadly) just lathering up and rallying the troops Never, ever underestimate why politicians do what they do..

How I feel using Claude to help push forward this insanely large Classic ASP refactor I have to wrap up before it financially implodes in February

Me choosing to eat Mexican Food for lunch knowing damn well I'm having Mexican Food again tonight for dinner

In a wild turn of events - One of the weirdos adjacent to the post lying about James Talarico bought something from me on PayPal 10+ years ago and the payment ended up being fraudulent ..and said person was charged for that (or a hyper adjacent) type of crime shortly thereafter What a country...

If you are a realtor and list a townhome or condo as a "home" on the internet and take pictures to purposely try and obscure that fact you are an asshole

I will absolutely have my site send your scraper the misleading HTTP status code to your scraper just like I'll poison my robots.txt with trash pages Have fun with that...

I'll never enjoy gaming again quite like I did when I had 5 100-count boxes of notched floppy disks packed full of c64 warez

Hey sports fans- If you grew up a local wrestling fan like me hears a great YouTube channel for ya to peep Guy is a retired wrestler (Magnum CK) - he's funny, knowledge, and sincere; really gleams the cube with his recaps They also have a very fun discord community m.youtube.com/@WhatICallWr...

Please stop recommending robots.txt as a deterrent against AI bots unless it is to Honeypot them In this day robots.txt does the exact opposite of what it was intended - it shows bots exactly where to look These companies are unethical and assuming they will ever act in good faith is adorable

When you get the screen protector on your phone first try with zero air bubbles and it looks goooood...

The hostile design of Peacock (not listing dates for episodes of The Tonight Show, only sXeXX) and Google AI search lying repeatedly when I asked it what that was for September 14, 2026, finding the Angine de Poitrine live performance was a lot harder than it would have been 7 years ago...
