I do kind of feel bad for this guy, he seems sincere about the whistleblower stuff but this is what people say when tech people are dismissive about how art works their whole life
β'You Can See Everything' is a hilarious, thrilling, fascinating, beautiful piece of art. What it certainly is not is a documentary, and itβs dangerous to pretend that it is,β writes Theranos whistleblower Tyler Shultz. https://bit.ly/4Bk2nDJ

I think it might have been the Star Wars special editions, according to my mom I really didn't like them lol
First film you saw at the cinema. The real first one, not the pretend one you tell people! Mine: The Empire Strikes Back, 1980, Wigan. We were near the front and I can still remember how massive the AT-ATs looked, looming over us out of the snow :) Film, year, where, and whatever stuck with you.

I support this car now. Every rich guy in the world should have one. Pressurize and depressurize this carbon fiber vessel many times in a variety of temperatures right by your head
Ah, the auto influencers have explained that this carbon fiber-wrapped ball, which sits right behind the driver's head, holds about 100kg of nitrogen pressurized to about 10,000 psi. Let me just go review the tolerances people found in their Cyber Trucks

not the point and i feel the same way as OP, but if you scrolling are in this position I would love to talk to you about starting a worker co-op instead of being a boss.
βYou can just start your own studio!β Brother I do not WANT to own a business. I donβt want to be anybodyβs boss. I want to write, which is the thing iβm good at!!!

I don't think it's an accident that @ko-op.com is committed to being AI free due to its democratic structure. The workers have made their stances very clear and their power to impact policy and workflows gives them the opportunity to define the workspace how they see fit.

this is significant is that it costs money to make and release a game, even with AI at least a few hundred dollars. Zero reviews almost guarantees it made no money. A handful of reviews is still generally less than $500 revenue. Are people willing to lose money on these slop games forever?
just wanted to share something i discovered the amount of games released in 2022 compared to this year has increased by 77%. I use 2022 because that marks the last year before AI really took over the internet whats crazy to me is that the amount of games with ZERO REVIEWS has ALMOST TRIPLED. ZERO?

At this point I'm really not. I think there's a niche for making games that rely on a meme-y gimmick to sell that is being attacked by this problem, which sucks, but I don't see it happening outside of that.
developers, is this a concern for you when it comes to next fest or any other sort of demo? has it influenced your recent decision making? if so, get in touch. DMs are open, email is nathan@aftermath.site, and Iβm nathangrayson.666 on signal
