"I hope I never see the day when any of us stand up and say we cannot accept the word of the president of the United Sates, no matter what party we belong to." Former Senator David Boren (D-OK)

While Kristi Noem’s out here blaming everyone but herself, here’s her own April press release bragging about clawing back $882M in disaster resilience grants. The kind that could’ve helped in Texas. They’d rather wage culture wars than actually protect human lives.

When the measles vaccine first came out, child mortality rates dropped across the board. It's only in recent years that it was discovered measles wipes out immunity to everything. Or as Google's AI thinggummer explains it...

"Men do not flee from being deceived as much as from being damaged by the deception: what they hate at this stage is basically not the deception but the bad, hostile consequences of certain kinds of deception" Friedrich Nietzsche

💙📚 #booksky Keep rereading these older books. So much is in here about source and reasons for inequality. Great read if trying to understand corporate greed or just some reasons for societal selfishness

"On the other hand an animal at the end of several months is already what it will remain for the rest of its life and it's species will still be at the end of a thousand years what it was in the first of those thousand years. Why is man alone liable to grow into a dotard?

"The economics of exchange rests on a recognition of the unequal valuation of goods or services by exchanging parties." Leonid V. Nikonov Hope this helps with the tariff trade deals 🤦🏾‍♂️
