I keep seeing the nonsense that Texas leadership does with a remark about how “Texas deserves better”. With all due respect, that is bovine excrement. They have been doing this for >20 yrs, but keep getting elected. We don’t deserve better, we need to vote better.

I saw a video clip of the movie “I Robot” where VIKI explains its interpretation of the laws of robotics as to why it chose to take control away from humans. As I look around at the world today, I’m starting to sympathize with her conclusions.🙄

Democracy is not a spectator sport. Civil rights is not a spectator sport. Environmental protection isn’t a spectator sport. Nothing is permanent. We have to act to attain them. We have to act to retain them.

Crockett or Talarico. Regardless whom you support in the primary, you have to back the winner in the general or you’ll be tacitly supporting Cornyn and the tRump agenda.

I’ve run elementary school car rider lines for 20 years and almost every day I’ve been closer to being hit by a car than that POS ICE agent could even imagine, much less experience.😠

“Vote blue, no matter who” is about primary elections. If we want progressive candidates, we have to do that in the primaries. With few exceptions, not voting blue in a general will guarantee the conservative candidate will win.

To expound on my observation of historical oligarchy in the U.S., there was a reason the oligarchs sat in the political background, quietly pulling strings. Musk has broken that rule. It's biting him in the financial butt and will cause him to lose any political power he might've had.

As I observe the political climate, I see woke as intelligent awareness and deep state as competence. So the party of anti-woke and anti-deep state is getting what they want: a blindly ignorant and incompetent government.

So what is the definition of "radical"? In my mind, it's about their actions and both sides are equally bad. Packing up all the "illegals" and shipping them back is as distasteful to me as not voting for Kamala Harris because their admin didn't do enough/anything for the Palestinians.

tRump bullied Colombia into taking the immigrants with the threat of tarrifs. If every country south of our border isn't quietly working export/import deals with either China or Russia, I'd be surprised. I just hope that either tRump tires of his bully game or runs out of time before it's too late.

Like tRump, RFK Jr will lie his ass off in the confirmation hearings and do whatever the hell he wants, if confirmed. There is absolutely no process or procedure that prevents him doing otherwise.

Why the hell are any Dem Senators voting for any of the administration's picks? All those who voted for Noem should be primaried (sp?). We need to elect Dems with morals and ethics and the intestinal fortitude to vote according to those morals and ethics.

Militarizing the border. Threatening invasion of schools, hospitals and churches for "suspected" undocumented people. Shutting down refugee programs. Shutting down DEI hiring. Pardoning convicted insurrectionists. Welcome to the new administation. 😕

A lot if people are concerned that Luigi Mangione is being held up as a folk hero, but not concerned that a major road and over 15 establishments of Round Rock, Texas, including 3 fire stations are named after a thief and murderer and only one minor street named after the LEO he murdered.

Does anyone who knows history really think we haven't already been living in an oligarchy? We've been here since before the robber barons. The only difference is now they are the politicians, not just the puppeteers.

You are up to date.
