My music is scattered across a macbook, pi, and old laptop. I wanted spotify, but for my own files on my own wifi. So I forked Rockbox and added a gpui frontend, airplay, snapcast, squeezelite, UPnP/DLNA, bluetooth, mpd, http streaming. Runs on Pi, Debian/Ubuntu, macOS. github.com/tsirysndr/ro...

New look for Rocksky Our brand-new landing page is live: rocksky.app

I wanted a simple way to collect and explore @rocksky.app's OpenTelemetry data, so I built my own: "otelview", so I can spot and resolve Rocksky API issues quickly. Single binary, built-in storage (DuckDB), simple web ui. tangled.org/tsiry-sandra...

Turned Codex into my DJ, forked Mixxx + added an MCP server: tangled.org/tsiry-sandra... Built a DJ skill: tangled.org/tsiry-sandra... Now it searches my local library, matches BPM + key, queues tracks, and mixes.

Probably my favorite thing I've built into @rocksky.app : 'Explore', every track anyone has scrobbled, queryable with RSQL rocksky.app/explore

I listen to music everywhere: local files, Spotify, Tidal. So why do I have to like the same song three times? Why do I have to build the same playlist three times? That's the itch behind @rocksky.app : one music identity, synced across every app, on AT Proto

An extensible music server written in Rust , single binary, zero dependency

Awesome! Loving it! atradio.fm Radio streaming on the ATmosphere network. @atradio.fm

What if we followed that up with activity support for @atradio.fm and @rocksky.app? That'd be crazy, right? Now live on the spaces alpha of @colibri.social spaces.colibri.social/app

New on Rocksky: Explore You can now query the catalog directly with RSQL: songs, albums, artists, playlists and scrobbles. Combine predicates with ; (and) and , (or), group with parentheses, use * as a wildcard.

@colibri.social's spaces alpha now supports @teal.fm as the first of many ATproto native activities 👀

Press a Gleam (Erlang/BEAM) app into a single self-contained binary — a Burrito for Gleam.

@rocksky.app now supports playlists. app.rocksky.playlist holds the collection, app.rocksky.playlist.song holds each entry, strong-ref'd to the song record so the link stays content-addressed. Open lexicons, so any player can read or build on them.

@rocksky.app stores EQ, tone, crossfade and replay gain as records on ATProto. Any other player can reuse them and stay in sync, your sound follows you across apps.
