No "hopium" for me... From what I was seeing, I was so sure that Kamala Harris would win. The disapointment was profond. The disgust was even deeper. This time, until the blue wave truly happens in November, I refuse to be on the "hopium" high.

How can the world ever trust the US again? In 2024, half of the voters (77 303 568) lacked the critical thinking skills it takes to elect a proper leader. Nothing says it won't happen again. Nothing is done to prevent it from happening again. ... and It will take decades to "Detrumpify" the US.

Few things that would greatly diminish the chances of another Trump presidency/catastrophy: 1) Improve the Education system 2) Eliminate the Electoral College vote 3) Restrict corporation (and personal) donations 4) Implement laws that would criminalize disinformation

Lasting damage As Trump destroys US democracy and standing on the world stage, other countries are making trade agreements with each other. Once those trades are official, there is no going back for a very long time. The World no longer trust the US and it will last long after Trump is gone...
