When republicans are answering questions under oath, we might try asking them this question: “If I were to ask @aoc.bsky.social a simple straight-forward question, do you thing she would give me a simple straight-forward answer?” I’d like to see their answer juxtaposed with their other answers.

“I’m sorry to be so blunt about it, but if you won’t be reasonable, then I won’t try to reason with you.” is a tool that we might try using sometimes.

Someone should invent a congress that does their job.

I don’t know, man. It’s hard to want Epic’s decision makers to succeed after the layoffs and a price hike right before that. But it’s worse to imagine how many more people will lose their jobs if they fail. Is there a future where the actual bad actors lose everything and the creatives succeed?

We need something that is a combination podcast-courtroom. Like, a podcast with a judge who has the legal power to put you in prison if you refuse to appear of if you lie. That would help with politics, I think.
