Bless your heart Google AI…it thinks Meditations With Monkeys is a real thing, and on sale at Amazon! #booksky Maybe it should be…

What movie needed a sequel but didn’t get one? Believe it or not…CHIPS Dax and Peña were so good/funny together and the script was great comedically. I don’t know about need, but me definitely wanted.

Foxy Shazam is great instrumentally & fantastic live. Eric Nally has excellent vocal range and a knack for fun, creative vocal delivery. Though my favorites are uptempo like this one, they’ve morphed stylistically with time and have something for everyone. #musicsky m.youtube.com/watch?v=RYeg...

Watched the Norm Macdonald doc on @netflix.com last night. Made me love him even more. I dig a variety of stand-up comedy styles…but the sideways thinkers like Norm, Mitch, Stephen Wright, Harland Williams, etc., they hold a special place in my brilliant comic pantheon. #norm #standup #comedy

Highway to Hell in My Pants Ruin a song by adding “In My Pants.” *not really sure adding in my pants ruins any AC/DC song. Kinda fits the oeuvre…

The Judgement Night soundtrack is hands down, top to bottom, my favorite soundtrack of all time (way better than film 😂). A masterpiece of 90s music genre mashups. And all original tunes! Still work out to it. And it introduced me to Del the Funky Homosapien! #musicsky m.youtube.com/playlist?lis...

Me, everyday: “Can someone point me to that line between cynicism and pragmatism?”

This is why it is okay to hate. Despite my desire to live a peaceful, hate free life, I have no qualms hating or wishing ill will on the people who contribute to mass death and otherwise actively make life worse for others on a grand scale. Musk is a demon.

22 hours of listening on Audible last month for Littlethumb Sneezed. That’s basically the book being read three times. Not bad for this little piece of literary fiction about a child prodigy painter. #booksky #audiobook The ebook is currently on sale for $.99! -it’s funny…but also sad.

Say what you will about South Park, but its Billionaire Weenies episode was brilliant.

Bat Dog is back and ready for action. #dogsky #batdog #superhero #canine-omite #arf

Not a huge fan of The Strokes but they have some songs I love. This song has one of my favorite guitar solos of all time. It’s short and to the point, not brilliantly complicated or overtly technical, but moves the song forward and leaves me wanting more. It’s perfect. m.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_DX...

This is one of those songs that I wish had one more verse. I love the piano and guitar parts so much, I don’t want it to end so quickly. Song may not be indicative of PC’s overall sound/body of work, but it is one of my favorites by them. #musicsky #music m.youtube.com/watch?v=eNk4...

Woohoo! The Boy Who fell from the Past audiobook got its first 5 Star rating on Hoopla. Thank you anonymous library patron!!! #booksky #library #audiobook #libraries #librarians #litfic #scifi #timetravel

This song is super fun. Goose is good. I like sharing music because I feel like artistic tastes often overlap…you share musical tastes maybe you share literary tastes, etc. You like this song you probably like Rancid Pete. #musicsky #booksky m.youtube.com/watch?v=BrtA...

Me, every day: “Man, what a day for the sociopaths.”

Just got off the phone with one of my closest friends, a lifelong Green Lantern fan (and English Lit teacher) with our post mortem convo about Lanterns. We talked each other off the ledge. Tears. Sadness. Frustration. Hopes dashed so harshly you can’t even remember what the hopes were…😂

music.apple.com/us/album/ton... This album may be Franz Ferdinand at the height of their powers.

Along with the sexy logs, got this antique crate refinished and shined up. Such a cool old thing. No idea where it came from. #art #artsky #woodsky 😂

It’s been a while since I finished any sexy wood pieces. These had been sitting on the porch since last summer…but finally got em stained and polished and shined. #artsky #woodsky

Teenage time travel

If you see this post a vampire that isn’t Dracula:

Publishing is so weird. Launched The Boy Who Fell from the Past audiobook. Concurrently running 10 year anniversary sale for Littlethumb Sneezed ebook. Annnnnnd…instead have sales for The Boy in paperback and several downloads of Littlethumb Sneezed audio. Will take it of course but 🤷🏻‍♂️ #booksky

Been an interesting run of sales…I put Littlethumb Sneezed on sale and instead Daffodil and The Boy Who Fell from the Past are moving. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Always happy to move units of course, just a curiosity!

Another one… #vintagetoys #toys #treasure #treasurechest #batman

I have failed you bluesky. I forgot to share my last two Treasure Chest Friday posts for five people to see. #vintagetoys #toys #treasure #treasurechest

n honor of Labor Day and all the workers, I chose this weekend to release my new audiobook. The Boy Who Fell from the Past is YA blended genre literary fiction. An unusual coming of age story. The audiobook will be available across all platforms and in libraries! #timetravel #scifi #booksky

I feel like I was born to love people against my will.

Regarding the recent debate about “big words” in literature and dumbing down stories and whatnot… I live with a thesaurus in my lap when drafting a manuscript, if that sort of thing turns you on. #booksky

A few years ago, after reading the entire Agenda47 & all 922 pages of Project 2025, I compiled a list of their 10 worst policies for Black Americans Less than 2 years into his presidency, Trump has accomplished every single goal on his anti-Black MAGA checklist

Rewatching Ted Lasso before watching the new season and it reminds me of how tired I get of morally grey characters, antiheroes, etc. Love having a show with a bunch of loving people who love each other and rarely do petty shit and jesus it’s so damn funny too. My memory didn’t do the show justice.

With all do respect to…I don’t know, the world. I don’t give a fuck about Natalie Harp. Epstein files. War. Cost of living. WAR! EPSTEIN FILES! Ice terrorism. Fucking health care. These things matter. Harp doesn’t.

It’s treasure chest Friday. #voltron #toys #toysky #vintage Do you like goofy content? You should check out my books 😁!

If bluesky is dying, I don’t wanna be right. Wait. If bluesky dying is wrong I don’t wa… Nope. Whatever it ain’t fuckin’ dying.

If you want to support your favourite author, but don't have the money to buy their books, most libraries have a Recommend a Purchase" link somewhere on their website. Or a "Notify me if the library purchases this title" option in their catalogue, which tells staff that there is interest.
