I love how I have this one place away from home where I can be incredibly productive and ideas just come to me naturally.

My biggest enemy as a developer is impostor syndrome. No matter how good you are, there's always someone better and it makes you feel like you're not good enough.

Apple added DX12 support to macOS and Apple Silicon via its Game Porting Toolkit. It’s basically a 20k patch to Wine that will make it easy to play AAA Windows games on macOS without using a VM. This is basically Proton (Steam’s compatibility layer) but for macOS. This is huge.

Learning a language in a classroom environment is not effective for most people. One good thing about it, however - it gives structure. If you learn on your own, you have to figure out everything Others can help with this. And you have much more freedom to choose what works for your learning style
