A vite plugin for atproto oauth would be pretty cool. I'm not sure how well equipped I am to make it, but I'll attempt it, I guess.

Is there any on-proto family tree making software yet since I want to make a pseudo family tree for @a.tpro.to since the bio length limit has been reached unfortunately

It's a shame that there aren't more color TLDS (only rgb, pink and black) because I just think that would be cool. It's also a shame that we're most definitely not getting a ".white" tld since I know quite a few people with that surname, but I'm sure it's pretty clear why that would be a bad idea..

true! but imagine an "atproto drive" with standard site docs, lexidraw canvasses, comail email, blob storage easily accessible, etc

I've been trying to migrate my repo over to my shiny new pds a.tpro.to, but having an issue. I'm using @pds.dad's moover which I don't think is the problem but I'm CCing in case you have seen this before, and migrating from @svenlaa.eu's PDS which has served me well (thanks very much) but I think..

that it might be out of date again since its com.atproto.server.checkAccountStatus endpoint isn't able to verify my token (gotten from the same PDS) as valid for some reason, which causes it to fail the migration. error: "Token could not be verified"

Oh building tranquil from source without cache might have been a bad idea... oh well, I guess I can recreate the xkcd comic

I may or may not have bought a killer domain for the sole purpose of running a pds on it, that being said what's the hip pds impl the cool kids are using nowadays since I have seen a few out there but forget their names atm

SVELTE NUMERO UNOOOOOOOOOO

Philippe Serhal@philippeserhal.com

New on @npmx.dev: 🥇🥈🥉 npmx.dev/leaderboard/... Why? Honestly, because we can just do fun things on the web. 🍿 Will the crown get to @rich-harris.dev's head? Will @danielroe.dev point out that ackshually SvelteKit is a fairer comparison and look how low the poor thing is? Will Astronauts organize?

Local person builds domain buying platform as an excuse to buy more domains

I vote st:// for the AT space uri scheme because when i think of spaces I think of gathering locations, which a street is. st also doubles as a TLD which benefitted at:// and also it would give us even more metaphors than simply the atmosphere/sky.. such as neighborhoods & gated communities

how do we feel about `space://`?

I made a list of my browser's autocomplete suggestions for each letter of the alphabet, feel free to join in

This also exposes the severity of my domain name obsession unfortunately... p.s. I am using ray.so with the language set to "elm" to make the image

I acquired did:plc:didwebiglv4zbq6zf2ba7b35 as a joke and then proceeded to not save the signing key 😭

I like how I can simply look at my account repo in order to see what atproto services I have used in the past, in order to revisit them since I tend to forget them

I know I don't have much influence, but it would be nice if I could nerdsnipe someone into buying richtext.at and making a richtext lexicon facet standard, similar to how standard.site standardized publishing, that people could use perhaps?? at.richtext.facet#bold :D

SSR vs CSR, but the C stands for Claude 💀

zeu@zeu.dev

what? what do you guys think claude does? you think it renders every single post you see?

"Hard at work" is an understatement, the new site is absolute beautiful. Massive props to the team behind it

We've been hard at work on a new website with new guides, better docs, more translations, even our very own blog. We think it looks pretty sharp, too. It's now easier than ever to just build things with AT Protocol. atproto.com

Honestly my first thought when I saw the implementation was wondering why something along the lines of app.bsky.actor.externalLink wasn't added instead, with perhaps a different style on the frontend for specific apps like germ. Then people could choose what buttons they want to put on their profile

dame@dame.is

re: the germ/bsky integration, i think bluesky should just convert this feature and the DM user experience flow into a generic “contact” flow and people can put signal, email, etc and Bluesky’s DMs and Germ are just options for private contact tap contact on profile, choose channel, etc

I suppose that at the end of the day they likely have valid reasons for choosing the current implementation, but I do think it would be interesting to have another more versatile option

I’m surprised how well the For You feed was able to tell when I was tired of the numinous daily dramas, so it simply stopped showing them to me. It’s like I hit my drama intake quota for the day, which is much appreciated (:

I think it would be cool to extend lexicons and store them in the generic collection so I could make org.tristie.graph.block that extends app.bsky.graph.block but also has an expiry time or something of the like, and then store it in the app.bsky.graph.block collection to indicate compatibility

Eli Mallon@iame.li

Making an atproto login page? Check these 50 different actor.profile lexicons for an avatar Shipping a new app? Check these 50 different graph.follow lexicons for suggested follows Want to not suggest blocked-elsewhere people to your users? 50 places idk feels like we might want more shared data
