Blast from the past! This was Simon’s depiction of the so-called “Nataruk massacre” that took place in Northern Kenya between 9,500 and 10,500 years ago. Brutal and beautiful piece. It was such a pleasure commissioning Simon all those years ago. Definitely check it out!

Made this exact same post on Twitter and the negative reaction to me calling myself a historian, even just an amateur historian, made me realize I just need to leave that website for good.
