Oh, that’s just Stephen Speilberg in a respirator at the Lucas Museum opening during a Covid surge, like a BOSS.

it will never stop being weird to me that "axios" is both the name of a news service and a popular js/ts library for making HTTP calls

‘The Matrix’ creator Lilly Wachowski on J.K. Rowling and the new ‘Harry Potter’ series: “She is funding trans genocide. J.K. Rowling funds trans genocide, full stop. So, if you support ‘Harry Potter,’ you’re supporting trans genocide.” variety.com/2026/tv/feat...

I'm open sourcing Pickaxes, a C library for calibrating and shaping analog sticks and triggers on 32-bit microcontrollers, designed for people building portables and custom controllers. github.com/loopj/pickaxes

As a new Harry Potter trailer makes the rounds, it bears repeating that there’s no way to watch this show without supporting J.K. Rowling’s bigotry and the structural violence she’s inflicting on the trans community.

This is actually my most played song last year hahaha this video is such a treat

Here is it on my MacBook Neo! It's so cute, the buttons are even a bit squishy like jelly :P

Fun fact: cubeboot was called bs2-trampoline when I was first doing the PoC work... Then I badged it under the flippyboot name before republishing it as "cubeboot"

And the 2026 Greenest Block in Brooklyn is… 👀 Lincoln Place between New York Avenue and Nostrand Avenue in Crown Heights! 🎉

In celebration of ALA’s 150th anniversary, the iconic David Bowie READ poster, first released in 1987, is back in print. An avid reader and library fan, Bowie was one of the first celebrities to pose for the READ campaign. Limited run. Get yours while supplies last: https://bit.ly/4qgL3dK 📚💙

I don't know what to do with this information, so just sharing it here: Apparently Stern Pinball game-code updates are encrypted LUKS containers 😀

the elites don't want you to know this but the ABIs at the park are free, you can take them home

Happy 6th birthday to my VPS

i like that Taylor's getting married at Madison Square Garden. It's like when we all got vaccines at the Javits Center.

Beating "12" for the top Google result for"4x3" is possibly the greatest achievement of my life.

Again, if there's a Democratic majority in the House in 2027, I think it's imperative that they start impeaching Supreme Court justices.

shoutout to SQLite . gotta be one of the best open source projects .

Logging into Retail WoW feels like RS3 v.s. OSRS.... Like all the icons are weird and different, the UI is mostly new and something feels wrong™

High Elves: Celibate and boring Blood Elves: Bisexual whores AMA

in case you forgot that it's pride month here's your reminder that like most of this account and a very good chunk of the scp wiki exists because of weird trans women. thank you weird trans women

I wrote most of a Matrix bridge for Google Messages using a webview this past weekend.... I'd be happy to share the code if anyone wants to take over

I GOT THE DOMAIN! I FINALLY GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!1 🥳🎉 Paint.NET is now at paint.net! Well, it will be just as soon as I push all the buttons to migrate content and set up redirects from getpaint.net etc. For now it's just a "hey go here" redirect page.

I really don't understand why news media is obsessed with highlighting these views, it makes them look really myopic and silly. I doubt any of the people doing this type of journalism wanted to contribute to this kind of slop and division politics. This single sample size clickbait stuff sucks lol

I'm begging for one article--just one--that is "Trump says Iran war is worth the economic pain. These urban voters in Harlem say `We told you he'd screw everything up, why didn't you listen to us?'" Just one. Just one "diner" interview in a place w a density above 1 per 1000 sq mi and < 95% white.

Built on the top of @fast-code-r-us.bsky.social FastEPD this component that just started: github.com/martinberlin... Will be a way to retrieve JSON from any web endpoint and draw images using the FastEPD GFX functions If you like the idea and have any combatible boards give it a try!

Yep. This is why when places end cash bail, the conviction rate goes down. Because a lot of those convictions were just innocent Black folk taking plea deals for crimes that they 100% did not do, to avoid a life destroying year in jail. Like this.

I wish people could understand. I once had a client accept a guilty plea - when I had absolute evidence he had not committed the crime - because they were going to make him sit in jail until trial.

I'm releasing Slider, a web port of Animal Crossing (GameCube): turtlekiosk.github.io/slider Features: - PWA offline support - Controller + keyboard + touch screen support - Import/export save data (compatible with Dolphin) - Variable window size / fullscreen support - Mutable audio

The John Roberts Court has done more to reduce the political power of poor people and Black people while enlarging the voting rights of rich people and corporations than has any court since Roger Taney was Chief Justice in the 1800s. I opposed his nomination in 2005, and I stand by that.

I’ve been keeping a secret for 5 years… For the first time, I’ll reveal the hidden 5th USB port on the original Xbox and how @makemhz.com spent the last year making the impossible possible with over 250,000 software patches. 🧵

It’s my mission to play this against 1 5 other people at some point this weekend.

I forgot to mention this before but I'm going to Midwest Gaming Classic this weekend in Milwaukee, WI and showing off 16-player Faceball again! Come see me, @stopskeletons.bsky.social, and @theunclebob.bsky.social and I'll have a neat little treat for you!

WSL9x, or Windows 9x Subsystem for Linux, runs a modern Linux kernel cooperatively inside the Windows 9x kernel! codeberg.org/hails/wsl9x

Migraine :(

Uncle Bob is doing God's work, not a lot of people would do all of this work for the love of preservation and retro gaming
