Marabou stork made direct eye contact and flew to perch directly in front of me and standing on that branch was TALLER 😭 While I was busy shitting myself it turned and casually hopped to the next branch. It was awesome but they have truly have no business being that large!!!

I’ve been reading more work from African authors, particularly Nigerian, and I’m fascinated at the similarities with Southeast Asian culture, including the English! Like the use of “o” at the end of sentences reminds me of the Singlish “la” (and apparently the accents sound similar too)
