Periodic reminder! I make all the prints on paper I sell by hand, each color individually, with screens I burn or blocks I carve and package them all myself. I don’t print my own shirts, however I have never hidden this fact and don’t lie and say I do! I use a vendor who lives in walking distance>

People have told me I have really interesting linework and I kinda wanted to post some of my notes about it in case people wanted to see. My linework isn't really line it's more like a big shape. I draw the interior and exterior lines individually.

I use this philosophy in my pin designs as well! Linework can be a communication between negative and positive shape instead of an outline of the approximation of form.

In some ways, the placement of the exterior line also has a lot to do with how much light is hitting the form. Usually if the facets of the model (perceptual) would face light, the shape of the line might be thinner but as those facets turn away from light, the line shape thickens and defines depth.

The idea is that the likeness of team identity and player identity can be used in merchandising in a way that gives a spectator reason long-term to follow along/support. I've been really interested in some ways that Major League Balatro is sponsored by artists. Honestly the reality isn't far off >>

I genuinely think the missing factor for me is just time. GRANTED the model is barebones for that reason. I'd love more time to work on making something like that work.

Packing orders is going great, just a few things to note: 1. Ink tank bag orders might get lightly delayed, I'm waiting on a shipment of some straps since I needed extras. 2. I don't do commissions anymore (usually due to just not having the time for them) but one thing I usually try to tell people when they are pushing their commissions is to format some of them in a way where you provide a use case for the art. For example, simple portraits are effectively icons/pfps.

This is if you are lost on how to format what you want to offer. Usually customers are more likely to make a decision if they can connect the use-case to a need they have.

I get unreasonably upset when someone uses 'pixel' in a title or theme and then there's no pixel art to be found. It's not sacred, they're allowed to do that but I'm just really wanting to find more pixel art items.
