Wanted to share some fun Topo-lore after seeing the USS Abraham Lincoln return to docks a rusted mess. Did you know...I was on that thing in 1991!? I actually just found out recently!

Heavily pregnant with me, my mother was evacuated on the USS Abraham Lincoln as a part of Operation Firey Vigil. I was baking in the womb when the eruption happened! Very thankful that I was okay during the evacuation, and my parents were safe.

When I was born, my grandparents flew all the way to the Phillipines from the USA to greet me and help ma' with her firstborn. I eventually came back (to?) to the states when my parents were done out there, and have been moving all over ever since. I'm odd and transient.

Wanted to share some fun Topo-lore after seeing the USS Abraham Lincoln return to docks a rusted mess. Did you know...I was on that thing in 1991!? I actually just found out recently!

I was born in the Phillipines in fall at Clark Air Base Hospital while the Americans still had control of it. That summer, mount Pinatubo erupted while my mother and father were stationed out there.

"I can't make friends in the city because talking to strangers is seen as weird here!" Strangers don't talk to you here unless they want something from you. We think you're trying to scam us or something! I'm sorry protecting ourselves is harming your social desires, but you gotta understand. ;w;

I wasn't born talented. I was a military kid who never lived anywhere long enough to make friends, so I opted to draw. Don't need friends to draw. Like any skill, I got better the more I studied and practiced. Some people may gravitate to art, but no one's born "talented". We're not mythical haha.

Start now if you're interested in learning. It's gonna feel clunky. You're probably not gonna like what you make for a while. It's okay. All skills start rough. Just don't tell yourself you lack some magical "talent" that others have. They don't! It's called hard work.
