i figured out one of the big reasons i enjoy vintage thrifting is so i can feel what clothes are supposed to be made of - i also saw two authentic 1950s poodle skirts :)

12 : i gotta tell the story of how they met ( part one ) - my grandmother was with her friend ( my grandfather's sister ) walking back from the beach , she had her curlers in and no make up on and my grandfather came downstairs and proceeded to hang on the banister

11 : they met at appropriate ages 😩 she was 21 and he was 19 , met summer 1970 and married november 1971 . it was after two deaths ( and a third shortly after marriage ) within six months they decided to get married
