@toomuchcoding.com & Jakub Pilimon discuss how typo broke production and the fix became a framework. They also look at where this is going next. Capture real traffic, generate contracts automatically, and let people review what matters. ๐ง #GOTOpodcast: gotopia.tech/podcast
In the age of AI tests are more important than ever, they are the guardrails for LLMs. Contract tests are essential for you to guard integrations. Check stubborn.sh as an implementation of contract tests with Spring Cloud Contract (works for npm too!)
There's no better place to make an announcement than SpringIO Barcelona! I'm happy to announce stubborn.sh - a broker for Spring Cloud Contract contracts! Check the demo at demo.stubborn.sh

A junior dev fixed a typo. It broke production. That bug eventually led to #SpringCloudContract. @toomuchcoding.com sits down with Jakub Pilimon to talk 15y of Spring, why #observability is missing context & how AI might fix the contract testing adoption problem for good ๐ youtu.be/D-yp3sB8cu0?...
Another dream come true! It was such honor and pleasure to have been interviewed by Jakub Pilimon for @gotocon.com . Enjoy! www.youtube.com/watch?list=P...

Do you know that there are already 100 people on the waitlist of maven.com/toomuchcodin... workshop? And do you know that you can get 200$ discount with the TOOMUCHCODING promo code? The offer is valid until the end of March. There will not be any such discount again!
Final call! In 4 hours we start the lightning lessons about breaking #AI code in 60 seconds! maven.com/p/4b47ed/wat... Join me - it's going to be fun!
How time flies! In about 20 hours I'm running my lightning lesson! maven.com/p/4b47ed/wat... tell your friends, tell your family, bring your dog - it's going to be fun!
On Thursday 18:00 CEST I'm going the Lightning Session about me breaking AI generated apps. There are about 50 people already registered to watch - come and join us! Take your kids, your grandmother, your dog, all of them can start using AI! maven.com/p/4b47ed/wat...
Hey ๐ just a friendly reminder that on Thursday at 18 cest I'll be running a free (that's a good price!) lightning session about creating, running, breaking and fixing AI apps! Check it out here maven.com/p/4b47ed/wat...
#AI can generate microservices in seconds. But it usually forgets timeouts, retries, and circuit breakers. Next week Iโll run a live demo where we generate services with AI and then break them by injecting latency. No slides. Just a terminal. maven.com/p/4b47ed/wat...
What happens if you let AI build a microservice? Next Thursday (12 Mar, 18:00 CET) Iโll show it live in a โก lightning lesson. First: AI builds the service. Then: I try to break it in 60 seconds. A quick look at what AI coding tools can - and canโt - do yet. Details: maven.com/p/4b47ed/wat...
Iโm running a live demo on March 12 (6 pm CET). Iโll have AI generate two services. Weโll look at the code. Then Iโll add latency and break it live. No slides. Just a terminal and real behavior. maven.com/p/4b47ed/wat... If youโre using #AI to build backend systems, this is worth your time.
Are you a fan of "plan mode" too? I wrote a blog post about why I think it's awesome toomuchcoding.com/post/2026-02... (of course LLM still ignores what we agreed upon there...) #YesYouAreRight #YouAreAbsolutelyRight

This is the feedback I got after doing the Java Microservices with Spring workshop. Now I'm upgrading that workshop into an AI native one where we will Generate, Break and Fix distributed systems using AI! Check it out here: maven.com/toomuchcodin...
I've been using AI coding agents daily for months. They're incredible at generating code. They're NOT that incredible at distributed systems. Same mistakes every time: no resilience, no observability, hardcoded everything. Services that compile and fall apart in production.
