I'm listening to some Ai music on Spotify that got shared in a WhatsApp group and other than I was told it was Ai I would never have been able to guess it was.

The internet is now mostly bots and a high percentage of the human users are just copy-pasting verbatim from LLMs for their posts, comments, blogs, newsletters, scripts, etc. Not sure if I have much more energy to hear or read one more person say “That's not x, that's Y!” and all the other Ai tells

My only hope, and I am optimistic about it, is that some new form of human self-expression emerges to fill the void. Fingers crossed.

I'm listening to some Ai music on Spotify that got shared in a WhatsApp group and other than I was told it was Ai I would never have been able to guess it was.

But, certainly “making a living” from creative self-expression is on its way out, and that was never an easy thing at the best of times.

Live music still has a future, I'm guessing, and maybe those street caricature artists will have a market, but not sure what else will do well any more. Ai has infected everything and there is no putting the toothpaste back in the tube.

I'm listening to some Ai music on Spotify that got shared in a WhatsApp group and other than I was told it was Ai I would never have been able to guess it was.

It's getting harder and harder to not see that writing, making art, or making music seems utterly pointless now, apart from the self-satisfaction of making it (which is still a fantastic and vital reason to make art).

Watched the first episode of that Twisted Yoga documentary series. It's good. It's about a Neo-Tantra yoga cult that got charged with human trafficking and other heinous crimes. It's on AppleTV (or ya know, the High Seas).
