Monstober 2026 Day 27 - Moreclay and Stonof! Wanting to be more than just a brick in the wall, Moreclay put on a hard hat and get to work. These clay bricks dance around construction sites in unison, helping level the ground and raise crew spirits. #monstober #pixelart

Monstober 2026 Day 26 - The Spooligan family! Spooligan are the grunts of the embroidery organized crime world. They carry out the orders of higher ups all in the hopes of weaving themselves a promotion some day. Unfortunately very few become boss, with most ending up in a tomb. #monstober #pixelart

Monstober 2026 Day 25 - Scrublet and Hangoose! These energetic ducklings ride their soap bars around like snowboards. Scrublet live in a symbiotic relationship with Sudshell, collecting their excess suds to turn into soap bars. #monstober #pixelart

Monstober 2026 Day 24 - Ringapus, Calibulb and Krakonion! An experiment in aquaculture and crop farming resulted in this onion-squid hybrid. Thanks to self-reproduction their population numbers can boom quite fast, though their oniony insides make them sought after by predators. #monstober #pixelart

Went down a pixel face/body paint rabbit hole this past week. Here's the outcome 🐱 #pixelart

Monstober 2026 Day 23 - Raccone! Once left to live on their own, many raccoons find shelter in traffic cones. It protects them from the elements, while also dissuading oncoming traffic when crossing the road. The hole at the top provides ventilation and space for their tails. #monstober #pixelart

Monstober 2026 Day 22 - Napole and Napfibian! Their river habitat was unfortunately contaminated by a pharmaceutical company dumping sleeping pills. They live in a constant state of sleepfloating by producing oversized bubbles through their nostrils. #monstober #pixelart

The takes about teams not being the same they were 10 years ago, so nothing is lost when a developer is completely shut down are *wild*

Here's something I can post! A new collection of GBC #pokemon TCG-like #pixelart warmups done during this month! Oddish line, my beloved. 6 colors each (no real gbc restriction, but they should be doable with a few ramps per 8x8px and a sprite layer on top, like YuGiOh Dark Duel)

made some edits to these earlier

Monstober 2026 Day 21 - Capsol, Axolbotl and Shmixalottle! Capsol scour the pond for discarded bottles to play with. When night falls, they make for good shelter to sleep in. Once they outgrow their bottles they instead wear them as accessories. #monstober #pixelart

Monstober 2026 Day 20 - Weevinch and Meteraffe! This insect species uses a tape measure casing as an extension for it's body. When threatened, it will attempt to intimidate foes by extending it's appendages to match their height. It has developed a habit of measuring objects. #monstober #pixelart

Monstober 2026 Day 19 - Sheelth and Claymoray! These eels scour old sunken ships searching for blades. They store weapons in their throats, and when threatened draw them with their tail. Their insides are coated in a slippery substance that protects them from cutting themselves. #monstober #pixelart

Monstober 2026 Day 18 - Karotor and Karateau! A genetically modified crop that gained sentience. It spins it's lower half at high speeds to zoom around fields, digging up the earth and harassing farmers. Surprisingly, it's adult form resembles a carrot cake. #monstober #pixelart

Monstober 2026 Day 17 - Aacti, Cactbulb and Joulossus! An electronics manufacturer started dumping devices into desert landfills. Cactus roots met lightbulbs and there was a spark. They started incorporating them into their biology, learning to produce electricity of their own. #monstober #pixelart

Monstober 2026 Day 13 - The Rubug family! This rubbery larva scours the roads chewing up asphalt and random nuts & bolts. As it grows, depending on the balance of it's diet, it's body either evolves to match the speed of oncoming traffic, or solidifies into a roadblock. #monstober #pixelart
