so i guess the actual "css" resolution is about a third of what the screen's resolution is. so a 600 pixels wide element... on a "411 pixels" wide display... i can't even make my browser window smaller than 500 pixels, how the hell ill figure this out later.

... Oh, BTW-- Courier. Thaaaat's the font, now I've gone and added that google Courier Prime as a fallback so the site actually shows the right font on firefox mobile, which i'll be opening right about nooooowwwww...- yup, it works.

My hope is that this layout conserves the site's eerie atmosphere while also tickling the curiosity of new visitors. Paradoxical. Ominous yet inviting. Mysterious. If it gets people to click through, play with it, see more stuff, I'm happy.

Maybe, in time, the home page (which to me, is iconic) will become a monstrous customizable multi-layered behemoth that will be unique to every visitor. Or maybe, with time, it will fade away as only a small part of a larger site, full of cryptic little games interconnecting some loose pages.

Much of it is *still* very manual. I have to add this stuff and catalog it and such. But it has been "compartmentalized" into different .md files. So, If I need to add to the Credits section, I just edit the Credits file, without touching or even seeing any of the surrounding HTML.

This stuff, for example. Isn't actually being pulled from some indexed file system w/ filesizes and all. But it at least gives me the template to work with if I wanna make a .js addSong("song", about") later to automate this stuff. Or I could just do it all manually. Less code running on site load.

Only a couple more changes before it goes live, I'd say. The game designer in me wants to turn this into some form of scavenger hunt where you unlock each tab by playing with the website. There's a lot I can do here. I'm having fun with it!

I haven't added much to it in a while... but I'm really having a lot of fun running through the code and playing with it now. Something must have changed. I'll see if I can add a music player tomorrow :)

i envy you, monogamist video editor user i wield the software like a 12 DEX tarnished wields nagakiba filmora, vegas, davinci, capcut, premiere, oneshot, every single one of these things is a colossal waste of time oh how i miss knowing nonlinear editing not beyond windows movie maker
