Happy Wonder Woman Day! Today marks 85 years since the first appearance of Diana, Princess of Themyscira, in *All Star Comics* #8 (USA). Personally, I’ve had the good fortune to draw her officially for two of her titles: *Wonder Woman* and *Absolute Wonder Woman*.

In both, I’ve aimed to reflect what the character means to me: a woman who is strong in every sense—possessing a power that is almost intimidating. Both series rank among my favorite reads: the revitalization by King and Sampere, and the wonderful *Absolute* run by Thompson and Sherman…

But long before I had the chance to work on her officially for DC, I had already drawn her many times on my own—in various versions, both within and outside of canon. Because she deserves it! Among the different versions, my favorite is the very last one in this reel...🥰

A lot was revealed at the recent NYCC—including my variant cover for *Superboy-Prime Special* #1, written by @joshuawilliamson.bsky.social and illustrated by Dan Mora , coming in January 2027. Since I’ve seen some rather low-quality images circulating, I wanted to share it here on my feed!

It’s been a blast drawing covers for Superboy-Prime over the past year. Joshua and Dan have crafted some incredibly fun stories, and the fans have spoken! It’s Prime Time!!

Oh! Believe me, though—you’re going to like it even more once the final layout is done! There are a few extra elements planned for the cover, but you’ll have to wait and see. 😜

I tested out an anti-AI tool (Foxglove) to avoid Meta’s crazy tagging—and, while I’m at it, to poison the generative AIs trying to train on my work. For those who use Gen AI: Work, fail, learn, create. Because it’s not the end goal; it’s the process of transformation that holds the real value. ✊🏻

La biblioteca es como una tienda, pero gratis (ya sé que no lo es). Puedes picotear cosas que de otra forma no leerías y que están fuera de tu zona de confort porque no pasa nada si lo devuelves a la mitad. Es una forma increíble de conocer autores y géneros que pagando te darían cosuca.

Hay un punto muy positivo de usar la biblioteca pública cuando quieras. Si no conectas con un libro, lo puedes devolver y pillarte otro sin problema. Es gratis. Llevo 50 páginas del libro de matemáticas e historia que me pillé pero no acabo de conectar. Así que esta tarde, biblioteca de nuevo. ♥️

Yesterday, thanks to a "kind" hater who started insulting me on Instagram, I discovered this new phenomenon: The app randomly labels our work as AI-generated—with no option to edit or report it. 🤪 This article by "Qué Diario" explores the topic: www.que.es/2026/09/04/e...

Beyond the initial shock and frustration, it is worrying not only that the app has become a space where it is so difficult to discern the truth, but also that we see our work compromised in every respect—and our credibility, too!

Ironically, in my case, most of the tags were applied to works I created the traditional way—on paper (with pencil, ink, and watercolor!). It certainly raises questions about their judgment... 🤡

La vuelta de verano va a ser intensa. Burocracias pendientes, gestorías, notarías, obra en el estudio, nuevos deadlines para el trabajo (mi nueva serie tendrá un pannel en NYCC y por fin se oficializará en qué ando)... Todo dentro de unos meses será maravilloso, pero ahora hay que gestionarlo 🥲

También habrá un par de eventos que me comprometí a acudir, algunas firmas más que pronto iré anunciando y una acción solidaria que llevamos bastante tiempo gestionando y que por fin espero poder anunciar. En fin que igual ya voy parando de abrir cosas nuevas porque no me da. 😅🤕

I’d forgotten that IT issues tend to crop up right when deadlines are tightest My Cintiq has been acting up all week—losing its connection, losing pen calibration, and disconnecting the keypad (along with the custom key assignments reverting to factory settings). 😥 Is anyone else experiencing this?

I’m spending several hours a day dealing with this just to keep working. And it’s new—only a few months old!
