Exactly as Christ intended. This fucking guy!

Trump: "Would anybody like the hear The Snake? We gotta whip it out. This is in honor of Springfield, Ohio, a quaint little town of 32,000 where they took in 35,000 and put them into Springfield. It didn't work out too well and they're being removed." The crowd starts chanting "De-port! De-port!"

This is a picture of two women from the Vernon Cadet Training Centre, which holds summer programming for 12-18 year olds to develop skills on the way to adulthood. Unlike Secretary Hegseth, they do not deserve contempt or ridicule.

every billionaire & tech mogul, they all want to be adored & celebrated without doing the things Dolly did with a fraction of the power & money. What she had, she gave away. I'm sure she was comfortable (& that's good!). But she just relentlessly helped. It's not that difficult. Love. Care. Help. πŸ’šπŸŒΈ

I volunteer to read it!

did some revisions on relevant chapter and can confirm: -it slaps -it's gonna make some people really mad -it's going to make some people say 'frak yeah, that's right' => anyway, did the thing I'm nearly done with this book. YOU'RE NOT READY πŸš€

Socialism is what they called public power. Socialism is what they called social security. Socialism is what they called the growth of free and independent labor organizations. Socialism is their name for almost anything that helps all the people. β€”Harry Truman, 1952

Talarico: Here's what real men don't do. They don't lie and cheat their way through life. They don't sell their soul to the highest bidder. Real men serve others, weak men serve themselves. So I welcome this debate. I don't think Paxton or Cruz are in a position to tell anyone what a real man is.

ChrΓ©tien: When you look at the polls, Canadians have never been more united. Thank you to Donald Trump for that. I should propose him for the Order of Canada, but I cannot succeed. Do you know why? Rosie: He's not Canadian? ChrΓ©tien: Because we don't give it to a person who has a criminal record.

I suspect the Pope sounds "woke" to many Christian conservatives because the US is steeped in prosperity theology, where the point of worship is to deliver health and wealth to believers. Thus, "feed the hungry" and "show mercy for the poor" sounds needlessly political and "woke."

β€œI am praying for peace. I hope that [a] ceasefire would be the most effective way to work together to find peace for all parties, to respect all parties, and to come to a solution,” Pope Leo XIV told 60 Minutes in March. cbsn.ws/4mtw66b

Dear #TopChef, The reason your colour challenge failed is because it was dumb. I would love to see every judge on that panel try and pull off what they were asking the chefs to do and see how well it would turn out. A silly overly complicated challenge that obviously no one enjoyed. Do better.

You ever notice how everyone has to sacrifice for these rich white men except for them?

Rep. Mark Alford on spiking gas prices: "I think we all know that when you have a kinetic conflict like this -- whether you want to call it a war or not -- it is going to take a little bit of sacrifice on the part of Americans"

This is why I have such a problem with people like Doug Ford saying that universities should be run like a business. This isn’t a sticker company your dad left you in a will, Doug. And you have no business telling anyone how post secondary should be managed.

At some point we will have a conversation about the bogus claim that running a financially successful company equips you for leadership more broadly.

I don’t think a state that is threatening wars of territorial aggression and has random death squads wandering about its mid-tier cities assassinating civilians should be hosting the World Cup

I was at the airport in Minneapolis and walking towards the food court area. I was carrying my pillow with me that I always travel with when I see Pauly Shore ask his friend β€œ,can we take pillows with us,” make eye contact with me, and say β€œoh he has a pillow. Sick. Heyyyy buddddyyyyy.”

Then the woman who won came to me with tears in her eyes and said, β€œSir, you are the most peaceful and strongest man with very large hands. No one deserves it more than you do as the greatest human in all of history.” The lady winner then gave me a standing ovation for 10 minutes and then fainted.

This is real. This... {deep breaths} I cannot even find the right word... actually said this about this year's richly deserving Nobel Peace Prize winner. He did everything he could to denigrate her win. (Screenshot below altered merely to remove an ad.)

A lot of folks who made "free speech" their whole bit have made it exceptionally clear that the only speech they care about keeping "free" is their own and that of those who think exactly like them

I would love to be part of the conversation on MSNBC related to the Kimmel story and it's chilling effects on first amendment, but unfortunately I was terminated by MSNBC for stating that "hateful thoughts lead to hateful words which lead to hateful actions".
