Hi #PortfolioDay, my name is Krystina and I'm currently a freelance gameplay animator with over 15 years of experience in the industry. I've worked on a number of shipped titles with broad experience in different styles and engines. I am pretty much always looking for work.

I have a Chromebook that can fold into a drawing tablet and I'm considering Clip Studio Paint so I can do digital drawing... I know it's used for digital manga but don't know much else about it. Apparently it requires a subscription. Any thoughts on this software?

I have been looking through old art to post to Instagram (trying to get that account going, sigh) and I am low-key fangirling over my own art from 2011, it's great?? What the hell? Is my bar now just to be able to draw as well as I did 15 years ago?

layoffs.asgc.gg Lately I have started looking into pivoting out of the animation and games industry entirely. All I ever wanted to be was an animator since I was 13. I'm almost 40. I haven't had a job since UbiSF closed in 2024. I'm looking for jobs on the deck of the Titanic.

Doodling some of my daughter's favorite Pokémon for some trunk or treat cutouts I'm going to paint. There's currently a big wrinkly spot on my sketchbook where my cat drooled through several pages.

Painted cutouts. As expected, my daughter had a meltdown when she saw them because they were, quote, "too big"

Wildwood looks like a great film, but tell me why the MC looks like she's 13 going on 40... it's like looking in a mirror.

Treasure Planet pulled this same thing with Jim by often giving him worry lines, but I still buy that he's a teenager... first time I saw the trailer for Wildwood I thought it was about a woman and her son. 🫠

Lately the existential dread over AI is so intense that seeing literally any human-made art is such a joy. Thanks for posting even your little doodles, it helps.

Drawing stuff on my desk. I've been drawing only in ballpoint pen lately to prevent myself from erasing and getting super uptight about everything 🫠

Trying to work on my years-long art block by pushing myself to draw every day. Drawing from photos of my toddler.

Had a dream last night about a Christmas store named "Rizzmas". Slogan: The Season is Giving™ I think I need to touch grass.

Is it a millennial thing to keep instruction manuals or is that just me? I know millenials are supposedly notorious for hoarding boxes and stuff. My favorite are probably the old game manuals, sad they don't make things like this anymore.

Darth Maul: Shadow Lord made me very nostalgic for Titan A.E. both in tone and design, and I don't feel like that's a coincidence.

I found it! 🎉

Got a new computer recently. Tore my place apart but can't find my install CD for Adobe CS5. Exhausted all my other options. Feeling really defeated. I know it's like 16 years old but it's worked for me okay up until now and almost $800 a year for the same thing feels absurd. 😞

Waking up from nightmares of helplessly watching world-ending disasters and then reading the news feels like being stuck in a feedback loop.

Muninn looking longingly up at the window this morning. He's a nervous jumper and usually needs a lift up to the windowsill.

Post a game you remember playing that nobody else remembers Oh my god I could be here all day posting these things, it's really hard to pick one so I'm going to pick 4 fight me

Post a game you remember playing that nobody else remembers Ok so a few of the older furrys who follow me might know Inherit the Earth 😅 I rarely see it mentioned but it is a beloved point and click puzzle game from my childhood.

Hey millenials: Better go check that album full of CD-Rs if you've got data on them, I tested a few yesterday from 2002 and had to give them a good swipe of the t-shirt to even get my aging BD to read them.

My brand new, $3000 computer, lol 💀 stuck in an automatic repair loop where it keeps reassigning the drive letters. Earliest I can get it repaired is Thursday.

I was making a giant cheese costume out of cardboard, my hand slipped while cutting a big hole using a box cutter, and the blade went straight into my left arm. Still have the scar. The costume was so big that when I got laid off from Obsidian it was too big to fit in my car and I left it behind.

What's the most ridiculous way you ever hurt yourself? I got out of the tub, skidded in water and tripped over the toilet. Ankle sprain. 😅
