It's #SundayCheckIn for 10/25. How was your week? How are you holding up? What do you need? What are you struggling with? What has helped? What kindness would help you? Remember to wash your sheets.

Help me ID this cast iron pan, please 😁 No apparent markings other than the "A" on the handle. It's not super light like my magical 120+ year old Griswold, but it's not on the heavy side for its size (it doesn't feel like the new lodge pans, for example). Tab at the top. Thoughts?

Not sure why anyone cares about my opinion since the campaigns certainly don't, but rather than return a bunch of messages, if the election were this very second, I think the outcomes would be... Pingree (governor) Collins (senate) Dunlap (CD2) Still time before the election for that all to shift.

Is there a manager of your 50s that I can speak to? If you are sensible enough to stay in, you are supposed to get extra sleep between Saturday and Sunday, not less sleep and up at just after 2am with a lingering inability to resume slumber.

Today I've decided that whatever my biggest annoyance is shall be my band name. Due to an unfortunate hot tea event, I was in court performing with my crew "scalded nipple". What's your band name?

Everyone I have talked to is having a trash week. I don't want to talk about my heavy stuff. Give me your most petty, most first world problem from this week. Mine is the chocolate pop I got for free on my birthday melted a little in the car and resolidified so the texture was less than ideal.

I appreciate everyone being skeptical of the beef situation and appreciate your optimism that it's a horse substitute instead of a soylent green scenario.

I'm starting to feel very good that I have some things in my freezer that have been there since before the FDA fell apart. I wasn't "being lazy about cooking", I was "anticipating governmen failures".

I'm saying this as someone who does not want this outcome. I'm the target market for the swing votes for the Maine Senate race. (An independent voter, who has voted for both R and D in the past) I get ALL the marketing and ads. Without a *massive* strategy shift, Collins is going to win.

What kind of peppers do we think these are? I planted a random seed I found on my kitchen counter to see what would grow, but there are probably at least a dozen kinds of pepper seeds we've had in the house.

Men will tell us that women only find guys who are over 6 feet tall who make 6 figures attractive. ...then Peter Dinklage will stroll in as an artisan peasant and have the ladies leaning in for him and his handicrafts.

I'm just a girl, watching a Senate race set money on fire in a way that won't take Susan Collins out of office less than 100 days from an election, wanting them to make wiser choices.

My office is separate from the house. However, the duck barn is visible. I'm in a mediation and it starts raining so in the background right here on the screen a whole Benny Hill scene plays out in this window with 13 trying to get the ducks back into the barn as he slides around on wet grass/mud.

15 has been struggling with the no snacks upstairs rule we have so I got him a cookie jar with a lid for if he MUST have something to snack on while doing homework so that there is less temptation for rodents. Friends, would you like to guess what I found in this?

I turn 50 next month. We're supposed to do something for that one, right? Except I haven't been a party person for many years. I don't really want to drive/go anywhere. I don't really covet anything from childhood that I can but with my grown up money. I don't care for cake. What should I do?
