Fact check: mRNA vaccines for respiratory viruses are meant to prevent severe illness (bad Pneumonia). This means beefing up our immunity in the *lower* respiratory tract, eg the lungs. Kennedy talks about the *upper* respiratory tract and vaccine efficacy in nonsensical gibberish.

RFK wants to lean into “whole cell” vaccine technology, which has existed for decades, comes with increased risk of side effects and can take years to develop. mRNA vaccine technology comes with far decreased risk of side effects and can take mere months to develop. Make it make sense!
