My anti-anxiety album is Hotel California. I know every riff, every lyric, and I can sing along and mimic the voices, and it calms the thoughts in my head. Pretty sure this is because my mom had it on auto-rewind in the car when I was a kid, worried about when my dad would fly off the handle next.

Having just read @travisbaldree.bsky.social 's cozy fantasy novels, Kindle is now telling me that there's an entire genre dedicated to this. Pretty sure these books, combined with the delightful @tkingfisher.com novels and Bujold's Penric series, Kindle has me buttoned up for a few months, here.
